Watch me n00b this up

Alright, so I've been trying to submit art for the last ohhhhhh 12+ hours or so. It's been stuck on that page no matter how many times I reset the forms and hit submit. It just doesn't get past that page. This likely belongs in the "Where is /How to?" section but I figure since this is art related, I'd best ask here. Anybody know what's going on with this?

Sometimes that shit happens. Make sure you filled out all fields, just take a break and try again. Eventually it will upload. Side-note: often chances are it submitted without you knowing it.

So, it breaks down to a try, try again scenario hm? Ah well. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind and keep on trying to upload this thing. It's too bad this is taking so long, I'm rather proud of this particular work.

To follow up with what test-object said, often the Art Portal has problems with certain browsers namely Internet Explorer. The first thing I'd reccomend is using a different browser such as Firefox, Safari, Opera....

I'm using firefox. I despise Internet Exploder lol And thanks for the information and your kindness regarding how n00b I am about all of this. I'm so used to just lurking. heh

I'm sorry that it's not working for you.

Hmm... you know there are a few touchy settings in the Art Portal as well. You might want to try playing around with/changing the title of the piece you're submitting, I had a user report that he had a problem with that using Firefox once. If you do have another browser you could still try that, there might be an error message your not recieving or something.

And keep plugging away.

That happened to me many times and you use firefox

I recommend you let the image load properly in the cutting area because if you leave it short and do not load the browser stops the process and when you hit send nothing happens.

Always remember it and not have problems when uploading your art.

I got it! Thanks for the info everyone! It finally worked after I tweaked the tag words.

Thanks for the advice. I finally got it uploaded. Now to start work on another project. If I can think of one. XP
