I'm a little new to flash, and wanted to ask a question regarding an issue that I'm having. I am making a character, and have 3 layers for the face in the following order.....
Layer(Shadows)- Same as layer highlights, but with shadows
Layer(Highlights)-this layer has more colors(brush tool), but with lower opacity
Layer(head)- this layer has the line art and base color
I have not convert it into a symbol yet.....
I want to animate the characters, but I need all 3 layers to move together. Every time I convert it to a symbol, the opacity messes up and the characters face(from Shadows, and Highlights) becomes see through.
Is there a plug in, or is there a way to parent the layers together? Or is there a way to convert the image to a symbol with out the opacity messing the character up?
Please let me know if you would like me to put images up, if you are confused.
Your problem seems to be that the layers are merged together.
Select all the keyframes, hit ctrl + F8 to create a blank new symbol and paste the keyframes in.
