Well, i got flash and photoshop...nearly...2 weeks ago, so basically i am a n00b at this, but i'm semi decent at drawing etc. etc. so i thought i would showcase my work as i go, constructive criticism, any sort of feedback and even trolling i handle well :)

Numero Uno - first project i started when i got photoshop, took me 4 - 3 hour sittings spanned over 4 days, i was following tutorials as i drew each section of the portrait. For a first try i'm pretty happy. This image i have put up in my art section on my profile, if you wish to, i would love some reviews and such :)

I think I said my piece about the portrait in my PM, it's not bad at all, just a bit bland with a few anatomical inconsistencies. It's okay to go a little crazy with color, imo, if you look for it you'll start seeing a broader spectrum of bold colors in things and you should go with it when you create art. Make your coloring dynamic. ;]

That's a more complex question than what came first the chicken or the egg, it's been boggling bread experts for centuries.

Thanks guys, i took your advice Kraig but at the moment i'm practicing with using a range of colours before i apply it to that image, that is, if i do ever go back to change it. I have been focusing on hair a bit, getting used to the technique i'm using, this is just a little practice i did, then one thing led to another. it's a little beasty.

Was stuck for something to draw... had no inspiration so decided i will sketch, don't think about it just do it, don't worry about proportion or anything just draw.started with a random shape and made it into a nose, and just went...randomly from their. I know the proportion is...off to say the least, but i like it nonetheless.

10 minute speed paint tryout, seeing what i could come out with.

Need work on your precision are irregularly shaped damaging your work but I like how you use the colors in the drawings.

I understand what you mean, but can you give specific examples within some of my drawings i uploaded to give me an initial idea of where i'm going wrong. please :D
