Gts 450 Vs Hd 5750

I feel like I'm spamming this, but I really don't feel like going anywhere else.
What do you guys think would be best for me?
The Gigabyte Nvidia GTS 450 or the XFX ATI Radeon HD 5750?
I've been looking at both of them and they are equally nice for a budget type card. On benchmarks, the GTS 450 gets higher on certain games and so does the 5750. From the first look I had, it appeared that the GTS 450 would be fine, but then I noticed it was lacking a fully sized HDMI and one port the 5750 has (although it comes with a converter for the mini-hdmi). As for another card, I am also thinking about these two. All comments and considerations are appreciated in this predicament!

If your computer isn't going to be used to dry out clay sculptures or cook bread, then you definitely should get the HD 5750.

Isn't the 450 a laptop card? the 5750 is fine, it's not high-end but it'll do.

Well, what about this card? I seem to be leaning towards Nvidia, but I don't know about compatibility.

Like you saw, the GTS 450 and HD 5750 are so close together in performance that it can almost boil down to personal preference. There are cases where one will edge out the other, but it doesn't appear that there is ever a significant margin in those cases. The GTS 450 uses slightly more power but is quieter and runs cooler. It doesn't sound like you need to worry about the HDMI output thing.

Yeah, no. The GTS 450 is nothing like the GTX 470/480 in that regard.

I guess I might as well go with that GTS 450 by amp. I've been reading some reviews on it and it seems decent, and maybe even able to compete with the 5770 or the 5830 (probably not going to beat either, but it gets close).
Now, is it compatible with that motherboard? I know I need to deactivate the onboard graphics (it should be easy to do from the BIOS screen), unless there is a possibility that I can run both (probably not considering ones Nvidia and the other is an ATI onboard).
