Occluded seems hell bent on destroying me and I really can't handle it; no matter what I say, I can't convince him that my art is original and he's dragged my name through shit over it. Very few have defended me, but after he brought up my past immaturity no one believed me. I would go somewhere else for advice but this is that spot I go to because my problems always come from somewhere else.

He claims to be a better artist than me, but I can't see where he is. He's said that unless I admit that he's the better artist between us, I'm a liar. I've actually pointed out errors in his artwork that he denies entirely by saying that I'm just trying to coax everyone into believing that I'm the better man by actually critiquing his artwork instead of throwing insults at him.

He hates me with a passion and I can't get him to stop slandering me. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't being ridiculed when I tried to prove that I was honest and that I don't steal artwork or trace photographs. Does anyone believe me when I say that I'm not? How can I put this, his opinion is not supreme. If anyone could look past his shiny coloring and 3D graphics, you'd see that he's a shitty artist. His perspective is chopped, his anatomy is confused and he knows just as much about artwork as HiryuGouki.

Noone's opinion is supreme, but it SURE is better than yours, sure he sometimes makes little mistakes in anatomy, but you know, you can easily write them off into "style".
His drawings have MUCH more work put into them than yours and have some artistic value.

I agree that, as a whole, the other guy's art seems to be better than OP's, but you can't simply "write" his mistakes "off into style."

Nothing new there, it's pretty commonplace. A bad artist perceived to be amazing, by people who aren't that discerning.

At first I got sort of angry at the whole situation, since I know what it feels like. Then I checked your art, then Occluded's. Sure his art may not be perfect, his composition skills (no idea how to say it english) may seem lacking in some pieces. At least he makes something original. But that's not what this thread is about, is it now?
