With only the clothes on your back, anything you might carry with you all the time, a knife and a pack of matches, would you be able to survive? If so, do you think you would last very long?
Let us assume, for demographic's sake, that the area you're surviving in is the same in terms of climate and wildlife of your area.
If you live in an urban area, imaging an expansive forest as far as the eye can see, with rabbits and deer and rivers and all that magical stuph

It's true. Canada actually has trees. I don't need to imagine, I can just look outside.

The wild around here is all controlled swamps and shit. I'd just find the nearest ranger cabin or whatever.

yes i'd find a highway and cut my inner thighs with a knife and show a trucker my inner thighs he will bring me back home and fuck me either that or murder me after he has his way with me.

At this point, I'm pretty much a goner. Planning on changing that once I move to BC though!

i watch alot of survivorman and man vs. wild, so i guess i have the knowledge to survive an exceptional amount of time, with a knife i would last but protecting myself from predators and poisonous insects at night would be a bigger problem as they don't go into alot of detail about that.....i assume i would climb up a tree since im a good climber to escape predators.
But i would have to find civilization fast or i don't have alot of confidence in myself surviving.....But hey at least i got a nature sabbatical before i died.

Survival really isn't that hard as long as you aren't in extreme conditions and you know what you are doing.
A lot of shit is edible, and shelter is easy as hell to make. You can use lots of stuff, even the sun, to tell direction. I live in a temperate forest area, so survival is easy.

i live in a desert but human activity has turned into more of a standard forest environment, you know fox, wolves, squirels, basic suburban environment but if i go hiking there are bears and cougars...alot of predators not enough herbivores......Plenty of edible plants and lots of deer though.

Actually, yes, I would be able to survive. For how long? Probably a month or so.

If I was dropped in the wild, it would save me the effort of going all the way home. I live in the wild, climbing in trees and eating bananas.
Look at your butt, now look at mine. Now back to your butt, back to mine. Sadly, you aren't a monkey or have a tail, but if you ate more bananas, you could pretend you are me. I am a monkey.

If anything Bear Grylls says holds water and there's a civilization to go back to, I just might make it.
Although considering I'm a type I diabetic my odds are lower than normal.

I dunno, if I happened to be carrying my machete, and .. I dunno honestly. I could last a little while, not excessively long. If given a few serious survival classes, that would greatly expand my chances but meh, I'm a city fluffball.

I would use the knife to slit my throat. I would rather die then have to live out in the wild without any technology or human contact for however long I would have to.
Unless it was a day or two, but I would still have problems with that.

Will I have a lady friend? Because then I would just fuck her all day and not give a fuck about anything.

You should totally add me on one of my various game accounts:

So long as I had my medication, quite a while, I live near a good fishing spot and some good edible plants and animals. The major thing would be finding a shelter to use.

If it was the kind of nice wild youve just described, yes. But if it was a scary jungle wild, I'd call for help. Seeing as you said we'd have everything we normally have on us, and one of my items would be my phone. So I'd be out of there soon.
Release your inner crazy.

I'd do my best to survive, don't know how long I'd actually survive though... Hopefully I eventually learn if every put in such a situation.

If you think Canada has trees, you should see New Zealand!
The trick is to use the drugs once to get there, and maybe spend the next ten years trying to get back there without the drug.

That's one place I have to see before I die... Seriously, looks so bloody beautiful out there. Damn you Lord of the Rings! Making me want to see it so fucking bad.

I would use my cell phone to call for help.
