newgrounds animators club

hey guys last Sunday I had the first livestream of the newgrounds animators club livestream channel. It turned out pretty well. People shared their stuff, got to talk, and meet interesting people. We had songs, and we animated and it was fun.

So I was thinking of turning this into a bi-weekly thing (so I can do an FP post so people can remember to go, but I could also send out PMs as reminders)

The livestream would mainly just be a stream of me animating or drawing, and me and whoever wants to can talk on the skype chat which will in turn be broadcasted onto the livestream.

There's a thread for stickam where you can have several people drawing/animating on cam at once.

As I said in that thread, the General and Art forums usually have rooms going. Anyone is welcome any time. It's a great way to get to know your fellow newgrounders, exchange ideas and techniques... and just have a good time.

hey guys I added some stuff to the livestream page, made a pretty nifty offline screen and stuff like that. So uh, don't forget about tomorrow, it'll be around 1-2 when it starts, I'll send some PM's, bump this thread, and make an FP post as a reminder. See you guys there.

I think that just means people with microphones have to use headphones so that there is no echo.

I don't know what the cause of that was, I checked on it today and it worked perfect, but yesterday was just a mess. I figure it had to do with the internet connection, apparently people all over town were experiencing the same thing.

I really have no idea why things turned out the way they did, I'm gonna try and invest as much time as possible to improve it from last time.

lol, my current theory is that if I turn off the "stereo mix" so it just comes from my microphone, there won't be an echo. Also the internet problem is simply a matter of bad luck, best bet is to stop stealing internet.
