So my family and I all bought guns.

I originally took my parents out browsing and we all ended up buying a new set of handguns. They're all 9mm. I bought the Glock 19 (top left), and for Christmas bought my dad the Springfield XDM-9 (bottom), and my dad bought my mother a Taurus PT-111 Millennium Pro (pink). Should be some good family bonding going out to the range, I go to the range once a week so hopefully I can get them to start coming too. But yeah I'm glad my folks are armed now, since you hear more and more about people getting mugged outside Walmart and shit nowadays.. especially women.

Anyway, the guns are great and I enjoy shooting all of them, I'd say all 3 are more fun to shoot than my Smith & Wesson.

If anyone has any questions about these models feel free to ask away and I'll answer as best I can.

And also, 9mm = poor personal defense weapon, although good for beginners. 9mm round has very poor stopping power; it's good for people that are just learning to shoot due to it's low recoil, but for serious personal defense you should go with a higher caliber. Like a .45.

For personal defense I don't think it makes a difference, unless you're shooting grizzly bears.

Actually a lot of people get hit with 9mm and survive. Due to it's high speed and small size, the bullet tends to pass right through a human body without causing much internal damage.

Dude, seriously, where the fuck do you live? The chance of a home getting broken in to is extremely low, and if you shoot someone, I think no matter what they are gonna be pretty fucking injured. Besides, a .45 would blow fucking chunks out of someone, and the recoil might even snap your wrist if you don't have a stable firing position

Do some reading on modern ammo. At one point in time 9mm was weak, but with modern expanding ammo 9mm becomes bigger inside the target and still has more velocity than a .45. But thanks for your 2 cents.

Also to whomever asked if the pink gun was legal, it is. A real gun can be any color, but fake guns like airsoft are required to have an orange colored tip or barrel.

Also, for all you .45 fanboys, believe me, the .45 is a good round, but that doesn't make the 9mm weak. This picture shows a 5.56 NATO round, (Which the US armed forces use), and a 9mm. You can see that the 9mm is quite a bit bigger than that. Also a massive 12.7mm on top lawl.

Yeah, it's probably not legal unless it's a toy.
It's also iilegal the other way around (Can't take the orange part off an airsoft gun.) because then it looks real, which can trick people just as a real pink gun.
