The beliefs can be some form of unholy mishmash between Scientology, any ancient mythology. ANY mythology they can pull out of their asses and christianity for some weird reason. That and they believe Satan is an ancient god named ENKI and that Adolf Hitler is the Messiah. ALSO it's actually just a neo-nazi movement, that get's tax cuts because it's a religion.

BEWARE: Most satanists that aren't part of the JOS hold more libertarian/liberal views, and while amoral aren't criminals aswell. Just to warn you about making an ass of yourself.

I don't have much of a problem with satanists. As far as theists go, their beliefs a little more skewed then others. If their worshipping the Christian Satan; then should they not realize that Satan himself is no ruler and is simply being punished in hell too? If they believe otherwise, i'd like to hear them tell me why.

Also, I don't like these people so much as it appears their racists.

I guess by reminding them that Satan isn't a ruler of hell, but just another poor fucker being punished in Hell, but this is assuming they do worship the Christian Satan, as OddlyPoetic just said.

Of course this would be a problem if not for a few tihngs.

1. Most Satanists just use Satan as an icon for rebeling. Seeing as "Satan" means "enemy" in hebrew. Or something related to that. "Satan" is just some old dark, rebelous god that they turn into Satan, so they can use it as a symble for their egos. OR "Satan" is their darker side, things that the christian majority find to be evil.

2. Most Satanist don't believe in hell, I'm not exactly sure what they find the afterlife but I know they don't believe in hell.

3. Most Satanist don't believe in god either, if they do, they just believe that he is a minor Hebrew war god. An extnetion of the Christian will and other suchs things.

Oddly enough I'm not very symbethic towards Laveyan Satanism because all of his criticisms where towards hippie christians that never wanted to hurt anyone. Satanist in general hate Wicca and this form of christianity more than the christianity that is actually causing problems.

in the Old Testament, satan (one of the angels) outsmarted god and made him hurt Job against god's will. therefore satan is cleverer.
