Woo hoo! Well done to the other competitors, some great stuff was submitted for this competition, but I am ecstatic that I have won! Probably the first time in 6 years that I have produced something worthwhile for this site, and it goes to show that the month of hard work was well worth it. Anyone that wants to read it still, there is a copy up on my latest news post that is probably a little easier to read than the one in the thread, or PM me and I can email it as a word document- 10k words doesn't translate well in a forum!

Haha! The music choices where great(Even if none of the top where of my choice) But it's good to hear that it wasn't a landslide competition, there where a lot of great songs, though it would have been nice to have heard a few more genres involved, or more of certain genres involved.
Also, on a slightly unrelated note. It's kinda awesome to have been mentioned in the last two contests I've helped out in the picking, obviously i must be doing something right xD

Hm, I really put a lot of time and dedication into reading these. It took a couple of full days to judge them, but I tried and succeeded in finding the time to get done what I had promised. Hopefully we can have more judges complete their voting in the future.

This had everything a perfect story should include. It included what I call the, "OHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" factor.

Because Gone Too Far was in the works since early in the year before we started pushing rules about music in contests, I decided to make an exception this time around. I don't intend to make any exceptions in 2011 though.
