I got an anonymous email today titled this and it was an advertisement for an LCD-HDTV.
It made me realize....

Holy shit, humans need to lighten up on the abbreviations.
LCDHDTV <--- look at that, 7 letters, its a mouthful on its own, say it 5 time real fast.

But I guess its better than saying; Liquid Crystal Display High Definition Television *gasp*

Sooooo, discuss, agree, disagree? lets talk it out.

Im fine if they create acronyms for names and what not as long as it's aforementioned what the acronym stood for.

Now that you spell it out, LCD is a pretty naff acronym, considering LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY sounds so fucking cool. It sounds like the TV Superman would have.

I won't worry about acronyms being long until they need their own acronyms. Then there will be problems.
