I just finished watching the series, and I have to say, my mind has been blown. I have no idea how anything could possibly match the epicness of what I just witnessed. I need to reflect, I need to discuss, I need to find more. I have watched both seasons and I am working on getting the movie. I feel like I was just lifted out of my house, and thrown five hundred feet across the sky, only to be back in my seat once I blinked. The whole thing was amazing.

The first season was released in 2006, so you probably only watched that. The first season is just made better by things you learn in the second, which came out in 2009.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is awesome though. I have the DVD box set myself, along with a little note to tell me the order in which to watch the episodes (since the order they were aired is different to the chronological order, which is again slightly different to the order on the DVD). However, the second series was not so impressive. A couple of the episodes were good, however, most were a tad boring. Especially the 'Endless Eight'; 8 almost identical episodes one after the other. I had to watch through them in one sitting because I knew that if I gave up half way through, I would never be able to come back to the series. I never want to go through something like that again.

I didn't know we had an anime section. But overall the series sucked for me. The story is all messed up and the dialogue isn't that good. Eventhough I only watched it twice. I bet you all liked the boobs didn't you?

K-on is not as bad as the Endless Eight.

It's not the best series, but it's not absolutely terrible.

Now, the Endless Eight on the other hand...
