Bought some new shoes

I finally got around to buying a new pair of shoes because I tend to wear flip-flops through the spring and summer. I looked all around the store and there were no shoes I liked. Then all of a sudden Morgan Freeman showed up and guided me to these (okay, I made that part up). I made a giant leap and my body was full of joy. Soon I discovered that these shoes were magical and gave me the basketball skills of Micheal Jordan ( I made up that part also... sorry).

Anyways, what do you think?

Anybody who is willing to pay over 30-40 dollars for a pair of shoes is out of their mind... They all do the same thing... It's just like buying shirts, you buy one shirt for 70 dollars because it has a brand name logo on it, when it does the same shit as any other shirt would.
I buy my shoes from Wal-Mart because I don't need to pride myself on how much I spend on clothing/accessories, and I also don't care to show off my clothing or compare it with other people.

They are actually very comfortable. In my opinion Nike shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes out there and they are built pretty well. It isn't to show off or brag. I just like the way they feel and look.

People make threads about thing they own all of the time. It isn't too say "HAHA look what I got and you don't have. La la la." it is just wanting to share something that you bought and get others opinions. If I wanted to truly brag and show off I would show nicer stuff that this.

If you read my first post in the thread I said something along the lines of they do the same things as any shoes, why would I be jealous of somebody who paid so much more for something that does the exact same thing. I'm proud to own a pair of 25-30 dollar shoes from Wal-Mart...

I really like those Pumas. I almost bought a pair before but I wasn't convinced that they would last long. The shoes that Puma makes are pretty awesome especially the high top ones.
