I come here around every 2 days, and sometimes don't even post.
But I have been seeing that in every thread made there are less replies.
What do you think is causing this? :o

I've just recently started coming back to Newgrounds myself, and I think the traffic is slower in general. People aren't submitting as many movies as they used to, from what I remember. So the web traffic is probably somewhat down as well.

I agree that it is not what it used to be, but the users are the only ones to blame for that...
Instead of bitching about it, we can all change it somehow. I just think it's time taking it's part... Everything changes and nothing is ever the same, that being said we can't expect it to be what it used to be, but we can try making our posts better, threads better, and everything else... I blame (partially) Facebook and other social networking sites.
People used to express themselves and write about their lifes here, in forums, now they do it on twitter or facebook...
I have visited newgroundsfor a long time, even a couple of years before I had this account, and the place has changed a lot really.
Still, it's one of the best online communities out there, imo.

Well we've almost become somewhat of a 'Family Guy' effect.

I even find myself getting tired of seeing the same things and going "Obligatory this" and "Obligatory that".

Now I've only being using the forums full throttle for a few months, and look what's happened already. Sure, use my sign up date against me but it doesn't take an idiot to see everything repeats and parodies itself until it becomes ridiculous in here.

But as said the redesign will bring traffic back to the site for a while, if it's good enough then, hell, we might have better forums and a better site in general.

It's changed a lot from what I was used to when I joined, and i sort of blame 4chan. I've seen so many post that look like they belong there instead of here, just because they have a "LOL SO RANDUM XDDDD" attitude, and they always have something like "implying" or "u mad" added in. And some random picture, saying that.

Although I think that some who people are also moving on from the site. They don't really show how most post are generally supposed to be.

Yeah, I may not have stumbled across Newgrounds as early as you bros did, really wish I could've, I mean, hell, it's like a fucking city more than a site. However, I tend to look at a lot of the older threads when I get the chance and the only thing different is there was less enforcing of the rules and more jokes.
