@ SBB's song: I'm a sucker for new age music so once I heard the opening I had to hear the rest. If you know anything about new age it's not as original as, it seems, others think but I still enjoyed it.

note that I intentionally did not post this in a review of the song because it's not review material.

idk what the song has to do with new age other than "the title contains the word meditation and meditation has connections to new age", I thought was ripping off chillout and lounge music

Yeah um I recognize the waveform because I saw it when I WAS CREATING IT

maybe not creating but at least working with it.

The shape of the waveform doesn't really matter though. What looks like a block of sound can be nice and snappy, and a song that seems to have loud transients and dynamics might sound compressed as hell

Yeah, you bet I will. I still haven't been able to fix my laptop, so i may have to resort to......other means.......meaning using Garageband on my Mom's mac. Hopefully it won't come to that......hopefully. If so, it will be an interesting test.

You have got to be shitting me. Your computer is broke too? Jesus Christ, am I just bad luck to opponents?! This has got to be the most laughably bad stroke of luck I've ever had! :C

Don't worry, I managed to do a work around- I just switched the hard drive with another computer. Now I'm ready to go I hope, just have to play with it for a bit to make sure everything is working.

xKore vs. dj-Nate

This is absolutely perfect. It is almost impossible to have any form of writers block with this determination/mindset. I love the feel of this competition. Best one I've participated in, bar none.

It isn't true dubstep, but it's my own thing, like you said. I certainly wouldn't still be working on it if i didn't think the song stood a chance. I think this battle will be epic, and I can't wait to hear xKore's submission. Overall, I'm just pretty fucking excited about the whole thing.
