I am not dumb, I just can not figure this crap out
There's no carbon (C) in there, so nope.
Officially that part would have to be called tetroxide (Greek term indicating 4 is tetra).

Do you mean 'SO4'?
I'm a little rusty, but I'm pretty sure that it would be 'Sulfur tetraoxide. I'm pretty sure that Sulfur is a non-metal, hence a Covalent Bond, but I'm not entirely sure. Just to be positive try writing 'Sulfur Oxygen (IV)'.
Unless 'So' is and element, but I'm pretty positive it isn't.
just roll with it nerd

Make sure to balance your equasion, nig.
h2so4
Count up the elements
Hydrogen (H) - 2
Sulfur (S) - 1
Oxygen (O) - 4
I didn't read it all before, if I knew the what the question was exactly I'd probably be able to help out quite a bit more. Get the before and after equasion, balance it, and and identify what kind of reaction it is, if needed.
