He slipped and hit his head on the sink. When he woke up, he had a vision of the flux capacitor, which is what makes time travel possible.

I don't know. Got more real events to celebrate that day.
What I want to know is if you guys are celebrating this wonderful day and if you are, how will you celebrate? I would also loved to be challenged with some trivia.

Guy Fawkes Night of course!
If he and his chums didn't attempt to blow up Parliment then 'anon' would never have their mask.

Eh, Back to the Future is more important.
Don't forget that Ben Spurgin Day is on the 5th, too.

Great scott! I thought the only thing that happened on 5th November was Guy Fawkes Day. Now I have to prepare for the celebration for the invention of time travel 55 years ago as well.

Of course! Thanks for reminding me! I never really followed his work, but I saw how much of an impact he made. So far there are three great things to celebrate.

Watch Back to The Future, then watch V for Vandetta and read about the history behind the actual holiday in Gagsy's post, and as for Ben Spurgin day, I'm not exactly sure where you can check out the announcement but definitely check out his work.

Don't watch V For Vendetta, read it. Alan Moore's original graphic novel is far more fulfilling and powerful than the shit movie it was based on, which neglected to even mention fascism even though that's what the story was about to begin with.
I think I'm the only one who is slightly confused and in fact, not "gearin' up" for November 5th. Besides I don't have school, I guess.
If you guys are as ridiculous as I am, you can go here and show all your friends how nerdy you are!

Yes, time travel was invented and you are the only human who doesn't
know because we are all actually time travelers sworn to secrecy.

Yeah, I'd advise people to read the novel first. Still a good film, no doubt. Just the graphic novel itself is just so much better.
Also, don't get me wrong I love the Back to the Future series (I actually felt like watching the first two again just over a week ago - so did). Just Guy Fawkes needs his love >:(
I hope you guys had a good November 5th. I know I did.
