Hi - hope this it's ok to post this - It's a post we're currently looking to fill ASAP - full time and would be working in an office in LONDON ( Home of Danger Mouse)

Job Description ****

IPC is looking for a talented all-round Flash Artist/Animator to join its award-winning digital team to work on Mousebreaker, the market-leading, UK-based casual games portfolio.

The right candidate will have experience in games and has an expertise in the rapid creation of quality game assets created natively in Flash.

Ideally, you will display clear graphic design skills, for front end and UI work and good character design and animation skills for in-game assets.

This role supports the Mousebreaker Team in the development of original games and the continued development of established brands.

Skills:

- Can amend visual assets within a .fla or a more complex flash game
- Strong Animation skills - can animate human run cycle
- Able to add extra animation frames to an existing game
- Collaborate with Flash developers and the Editorial Team to ensure the smooth development of quality artwork
- Actively participate in the game development process, engaging the team, and resolving art issues wherever applicable
- Solid time estimation and management
- Basic working knowledge of 3dmax/soft image or comparable 3D package
- Make and export for use in flash simple animated characters in 3dmax/soft image an advantage

Qualifications:

- Proven Interactive and Flash design experience within the online industry preferably in game development
- Demonstrable proficiency using Flash Professional CS4
- Experience with HTML, DHTML, CSS, JSP, AJAX JavaScript, PHP, ASP, MySQL is a plus
- Demonstrable portfolio and focus on Flash work

Make sure to read the first post as that is where the instructions to place requests are.

I would like to say though, I don't think there's too many people that want to/can move to London. It's worth a shot, though!

Whilst your post is well thought out, I wouldn't say the art forum is the best place to recruit people. You can either check out the art request thread, make a Blog Post and advertise there, or try your luck in the animation forum.
