For those who don't know, Dias is a Mexican holiday celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of November, in remembrance of family and friends who have passed on. It's a bit like Halloween, except much more festive and not so much focus on being scary.
that means "day of the dead" in spanish

And yeah :D it is quite festive around here, and moreso, around these times stores sell "pan de muertos" (roughly translated as bread of the dead, lol, sounds like a George Romero's movie) which is tasty :D

Oh, I thought that November 1st was "All Saint's Day" and it celebrated the saints who died or something. Halloween is derived from "Hallow's Eve" which meant right before All Saint's Day, but nobody celebrates that holiday anymore. "Day Of The Dead" is still widely celebrated in Mexico, but probably hasn't reached out to American audiences much.
Oh well, happy day of the dead.

Here, in Dominican Republic, November 1st is ''Día de Todos los Santos'' (All Saints' Day) and November 2nd is ''Día de los Muertos'' (Day of the Dead).
Notice ''Día'' and not ''Dias'', since that would be plural (days) :P
Tomorrow seems like a nice day for a zombie apocalypse.
Nobody cares. Halloween is shitty enough, why the fuck would anyone celebrate a sandy version of it at the same time.
I apologize in advance.
