British myself. So yes, it's in Europe.

I don't like the new sounds, but I suppose I'll adjust.

Also, England (for the mean time) has exclusive voice control.

And England, France and Germany (I believe) get the "Xbox Live Gold Family Pack", which is 4 years of Xbox Live for £69.99. What a fucking deal!

This thing is ugly. I mean seriously ugly. At first glance a consumer would infer that the Microsoft Graphics Department is a bunch of Key Stage 3 kids on powerpoint, the Communications Department is two dudes trying to talk through a 2 tins of soup with some string attached, and the Sound/Notifications Department consists of a baby retard hitting a pan with a spoon. Your website now looks like the product of a 12 year old sprite fanboy has sat on Dreamweaver and had his way with the works.

It looks awful, who ever came up with the idea to make highlighted text smaller than un-highlighted text in the main dashboard needs sacking, the microphones actually sound like your talking through a tin can, you get all this background interface, and everything is more muffled, and literally sounds like your sticking your head into a barrel. Making the comparison between party, and game chat, the game chat is FAR superior. Profiles look like a power-point presentation I could have whipped up in year six, the dashboard often lags, and I'm pretty sure they've slapped everything that once was there in 'relatively' the same spot.

Oh and the whole things done in what looks like Ariel Font.

Anybody else think this thing is an eyesore? We tried playing music down the microphones, something which came out fine before, and it just sounded like screaming. It looks disproportionate, like everything that was meant to be smaller, is for some reason, bigger?

I thought this thing would be made (or at least similar to) the designers of Windows 7, not the google fucking preschool art competition. Did Microsoft actually playtest the final result? Did the Beta People even get to give feedback?

i dont want to go have to stare at some generic avatars for fifteen seconds just to get their names to appear above them, only to find it's one friend and a bunch of people i don't know?

What i want is a concise list of any parties with two or more of my friends in, or something. Bonus points if they're playing a game that I have.

Other than that, I like that in the marketplace I can see the 3 most recent arcade, games on demand, and demos at a glance. Dont think it was like that before, certainly approve.

I had to deal with that through the whole beta. It sucks. But it is nice to have the actual release and not have to worry about bugs and shit anymore.

This doesn't look half bad! Not been able to get it myself though yet.. Keeps coming up with some form of error and says 'test connection' and whatever.. Tested multiple times and its fine but still won't work... It's getting a real pain in the ass as the update message keeps popping up and signs me out too.

Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? Is it just cause so many people will be getting it or what?

I can't say I really give a shit. I only use my 360 for Gears and Halo anyway so I'm rarely on it.
And the best Menu Design ever is Sony's XMB it is very convenient

Much prefer the look of this one over the first Blade interface & the last update. Still think the whole Marketplace is a scam. I pay good money for a game & don't get any freebies like themes, pics etc included with it.

My internet is terrible at about 20 kbps and it only took about 45 minutes. Maybe less. But 2 1/2 hours? Really?
