Did you know that about a week after this november, Congress will vote on bill "6464"? Its a bill that will take a 1% fee off ALL banking transactions; all your transfers, in, out, moving funds, cashing checks, and depositing pay stubs will cause 1% of the total amount to go to the central bank, The federal bank.
I honestly plan to quit using banks. I live in california, where 30% of my income is taxed before I get it, another 15% after I get it, and everything is about 10% (8.5%) sales tax, and putting a tax on just saving my money too?! I should just go back to bartering.

I've been saving money to move to Australia for a while now. The U.S. is the Roman Empire coming to the end of the golden age. We had a great form of government, but it's flaw was that it is too exploitable. Not even 300 years after it was made it's already a mere figment of what it was intended to be. Shit like this just doesn't bother me anymore. It is what it is.

Honestly, I couldn't agree more. My dad is an emergency room physician so for him it is more like 60% of his income is taxed. And people wonder why Congress and Senate are poised to go Tea Party/Republican soon.

I'm going to risk looking a fool under a hammer's head and infer that this is still a general topic. My reason: I didn't mention any political parties, candidates, anything that you can personally vote on (congress is like picking a football team and praying they can do without a coach.), or ask any stance to be taken. Its essentially just bitching about a situation and wondering what to do on a personal level.
