I don't know about yall Ngers, but the Scary Stories book series was the most TRAMATIZING shyt I ever read in my life as a kid ! I mean seriously I think the author and illustrator for the books was possesed or some shyt because those stories were out there. They burned thoughts into my head that i think will never dissapear because it had shyt STEVEN KING couldn't make up. I would never read these things in the dark alone because it gives a eerie feeling just from the pictures without even reading the story. Has anyone read any these and can relate ?

I've watched a couple of them, and I wasn't scared no, I was DISGUSTED, guts were flying around, axes were put into heads, hooks were put THROUGH heads, people eating other people.
That wasn't scary, that was just purely BLEH.

The fellows over at /x/ love that book... I never had the chance to read it when I was younger so I feel like I've missed out. :(

I do have the intention of purchasing the series some time though; I mean, I don't see why not as the books cost about 2 of ny English pounds.

For some reason as a kid i was never scared by the really scary stuff but then the little things made me piss myself. Like today most teens and young adults are scared of clowns because of the movie
"IT." when i saw that movie I can remember thinking to myself that i wanted to slap the shit out of Pennywise. Then id read books like this and id be looking over my shoulder for like a week.
