Seriously, this makes me so fucking mad! It started off pretty cool, but DAMN. Just look at how those women respond to him. They don't show one bit of remorse or apology. They continue, that whole time, to act like he's an evil selfish asswipe who just wants his wife to have an abortion because he's like, a lazy person or something.
What the hell. How can they be so cold to him.

not really, when it comes to people making decisions about there own body its theirs alone, plus the fetus was gonna die to a a disease anyway the parents were in the right. plus I hate Pro-life Catholics that tell people what they do with their lives, hell they did that for half a Millennium and science was taboo and advancement was stagnant unless you wanted to be considered a heretic.

Did you just relate anti-abortion to the dark ages?

I also agree that that would be rather extreme.
I think I should talk about this over again. Because let me say, I am NOT pro-choice. I'm not sure if I'm pro-life either. But I'd lean closer to that, just barely. It's not the fact that those protestors were protesting that I hate, it's how unbelievably assholy they acted to that guy. But in their defense...
*The man was acting pretty dickish too. He immediately started up in a really douchey tone.
*He ended up almost yelling, and they really kept their voices down, politely you could say.
*Oh, and they were being filmed too.
*Seriously, what the hell was up with that anyway? The man was like...
"Well I'm going to go TELL THEM OFF! But first, ah yes, I should get my camera phone. This could become a viral internet video or something, yeah!"
And then of course, because we're seeing it on the internet at all, that means he uploaded it himself. This guy REALLY wanted us to see that, huh?
But still. Even with all that. If a person starts getting mad at you in relation to one of his or her kids (born or unborn) dying, and they're accusing you of something that's even faintly true, you're horrible if you just go "Oh sorry. Pchh, whatever."

Well, to be fair, they are the lowest common denominator. Mindless, moralistic, angry and with an over developed sense of self entitlement.
He makes a good point - if she has children then why is she busy out confronting other people on their decisions (which she has no control over, thus making it futile) when she could have a positive impact on her home life by actualy being at home. Those signs dont dissapear when she goes home, they're hanging around the house.
I'm pro-choice. I'd never get an abortion (you know what I mean), but it's not my place to decide what other people do with their lives. I hope I never feel so arrogant as to do so, either.

Not her body. A fetus has its own genetic identity, moron.
Funny you idiots claim to be scientific, but yet your entire reasoning for being pro-choice has no scientific basis whatsoever.
Also, you immediately used religion to cover your ass. So you automatically lose the argument.
But seriously... why did you bring up religion? Why are you so fascinated with it?

Actually, the fetus was already dead inside the mother. They came there to have it removed.
But it's not like the truth has ever mattered to you Mez as long as you get to troll, so nevermind.

I don't see any science in abortion. It's actually very primitive similar to cannibalism.

Uh oh, comparing abortion to cannibalism? You're going to get it now. What's next, comparing gay marriage to Nazis? Or animal rights to nothing? (Well, that last one.....hehe)

Bro, I got science for ya. One of Freud's theories about the female mind was called the theory of penis envy, that women are subconsciously (WAY down there) jealous of men for having a penis (how he discovered that is beyond me)
This could translate as to why women want the right to abort, they wish their bodies worked in the same way that male bodies function, without the ability to have children. That's really all abortion is.

The reason why the baby has no chance for survival is because it was aborted. The cruelty of life forces such an innocent child to be flushed down the toilet just because it was disabled or deformed.

Edited for great justice.
Anyway, how can you say it's cruelty to life when the baby isn't alive nor did it have any chance of survival outside of the womb? This is what I call mercy, because the mom would've have suffered while giving birth to a stillborn.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

Have you read the paragraph? It didn't even present factual basis from a legitimate source - only from an abortion clinic (which they renamed women's clinic for convenience). It also didn't say that the child was dead - but have slim (exaggerated to NO) chance of survival. Read between the lines.

Tinfoil hat much?
Its not as though stilborn feti are particularly rare, in fact, its quite the opposite.
Contrary to what you see on those fanciful tv commercials being born with even the mildest of cognenital disorders is far from glamorous.
But by all means, lets let what is essentially a tumor fester in the poor girl's belly and cross our fingers for a one in ten trillion miracle that the poor creature lives long enough to spend a few moments outside the womb to writhe in agony before sucumbing to god's cruel designs.
Morality, el oh el.

A rather tinfoil counter argument if I do say so myself, considering your argument was about as black and white as it gets with no gray area to lean back on. And if it turns out that giant lump in her belly is a dying baby, then it would only make sense to abort it, saving the pain of birthing a stillborn child.
Just stop worrying, and love the bomb.

I doubt he wanted an apology for the kind of turmoil he was going through, only to have them stop being ignorant of the kind of emotions go through an abortion.
The only thing I found interesting was the arrogant "holier than thou" attitude the protesters were making, shrugging him off as soon as they saw he was recording the video. They had to save face I guess instead of coming up with a good enough argument against the guy.
Kudos to the husband, and I am sorry for his loss.

So you got beat on this point elsewhere so you try to use it here?
I have a story about that: No.
It's NOT similar to cannibalism because nobody is aborting and then eating the fetus. If you can show me where someone is eating the fetus, I'll give you cannibalism. If you can show me where ANY sort of cannibalistic act is being done with the aborted fetus I'll give you cannibalism. Until then, quit talking out of your ass "doctor"

I saw this article posted on a separate site liked to me by a friend on facebook; unlike the original link this one has the full, first hand story.
Here is a link to that site.
From the original article:
After extensive testing at a renowned Boston hospital three weeks earlier, we were told our baby had Sirenomelia. Otherwise known as Mermaid Syndrome, it's a rare (one in every 100,000 pregnancies) congenital deformity in which the legs are fused together. Worse than that, our baby had no bladder or kidneys. Our doctors told us there was zero chance for survival.
Zero chance for survival. Not slim - zero. I don't know where you got slim from, it wasn't in the article, seems like you just made that up. You don't get to live if you don't have a bladder or kidneys.
As far as I'm concerned you're as bad as those 2 dumbfuck protesters for prejudging the situaton without any knowledge. You spout your tripe and assume that this is being done in the name of an agenda. That and you have the audacity to call a women's clinic an abortion clinic, disregarding any work that they do with pregnancies that are to come to term and womens gynecological health so that you can paint this issue into your black and white viewpoint.
Do yourself, and everyone who comes into contact with you, a favour and educate yourself on all sides of an issue before you make another post, or spout another opinion.

I don't agree with some extents pro lifers will go through to 'prove their point'. However I fully agree with their right to do it. As long as things don't get violent, I have no problem with pro lifers waving signs of dead fetuses at those who wish to have an abortion. It's your choice, yes, but that doesn't mean people aren't allowed to not like your choice, and express their feelings about it. If you don't like people yelling at you about being a "baby killer" and whatnot, it really isn't so hard to simply ignore them. However, if they put their hands on you...well...then you have the right to bitch slap the motherfucker into next week.

I like how these two pro life women brought up "How many women commit suicide after abortion", when it is people like them, who drive those women to that point in the first place.
You know what would be really neat? These things actually being noticeable.

I could barely make out what they were saying, but I know all too well where they are coming from. Many of these people are so radical that they often have no qualms about causing emotional upset or even bombing clinics and murdering people. Remember the George Tiller case? The shooter was a known pro-life activist and the founder of Operation Rescue and the head of the Southern Baptist Convention both praised him as a hero.
