I don't think that will be the end of the hands, but a little break, I like drawing hands and I don't know why.

im kinda torn because I like the idea of the series, but they aren't very refined.
I think it has huge potential for a great series, they just aren't very refined.
with this said I realize that these are just sketches and with that in mind these make for great sketches

Maybe when I'm drawing my next hand I'll spend a little more time to refine them and vary mediums as well for a more interesting series.

Watercolour Landscape 2, not as good as the previous one; I did the in 15mins thats probably why.

Getting used to gimp. So I put this in the art portal. Better Quality As Well.

Take it out. You need to use a lot more shades in this and use darker colours to show curves and the shape of the face and its features. At the moment everything is at the same brightness level and if you removed all the colour I bet it would be extremely hard to make out the shape of his face.

The hands look really good. You have a nice amount of variation in here.

I took it out.
I get about the brightness, but I don't understand about if you took the colour out you wouldn't be able to see, because it all colour so the whole picture would be gone.

The hands look really good. You have a nice amount of variation in here.

Thanks, yeah I'm trying not to just use the same mediums and stuff because if I want to have a good portfolio I have to have a lot of variation so I stand out, plus it's fun.

I mean if you made the picture greyscale like so.. there isn't much shape to the face, you need to try and vary the brightness and darkness of your colours so that the shape is shown through the shadow and lighting. Like is done here & here & here, the shades range all the way from black to white.

Yeah I get you, that really helps I'll be sure to sort that out, I guess i will define the image a lot more.

Thanks, I actually enjoy drawing hands. I found it quite hard to do them at first, but once you do a few, you'll find them much easier.
