Use the searchbar. There's already a thread about it.
The trick is to use the drugs once to get there, and maybe spend the next ten years trying to get back there without the drug.

A thread which was locked because of people enquiring about how they will now illegally download their music. Just thought I'd point that out.

Don't really care. Never used it, mostly because I didn't like it's reputation, so no skin off my nose. It, however, will be very annoying for some of my mates, who do use it.
Anyway, this is the INTERNET. I'm sure we'll be able to think something up, we are the most powerful collective super consciousness in the entire planet. ;) Yay internet!
Stuff...
Now we've got Spotify, free and legal.
Also, Spotify is virusfree and we can't say that about Limewire, can we?
Its about time. I honestly don't see why people download illegal music, even though they have plenty of money and can easily afford it, and would never steal anything from a shop (e.g a CD). Although programs like this are designed for legal file sharing, it is quite obvious what they imply, and probably 99% of their users use them to illegally download music/games/programs. They should all be shut down IMO, there are plenty more like limewire.

Limewire was never designed for legal file sharing, when you first start it, you'll get a screen asking which filetypes you want it to pull from your computer. I can imagine a noob just clicking past this screen and not knowing he's illegally sharing his files (back when I used it, it was trying to get my Flash games on Limewire and I'm pretty sure if I would use it now it would upload my fucking game engines source code!).
I thought limewire was only illegal if you shared it in public?
damn. Not that I used limewire...
Limewire was about as corrupt as they come - one of the statistics pulled that only 7% of the torrents and file sharing used were actually legal. I'm not even mad that they shut it down, I had a pet peeve against it to begin with, but it does show that ACTA and it's like is coming into effect.
Good, now people can use utorrent, as god intended.

Not that Limewire was ever good in the first place anyway. It's just a virus infested pile of shit which people continue to use.
i agree, Limewire is so bad and has 10000000000..... viruses
Good riddance. May we all dance on it's grave.
Why are people making such a big deal about a P2P software that had more viruses than content?
hello
use files tube
when i download something from limewire I come up with a load of shit that killed my computer!
This signature makes use of various clichés and/or 'emotional' lyrics/quotes, hopefully it makes me appear deep.
I have to say I used it like maybe 2 or so years ago and every time I entered literally anything and I always got "Insert what you put sexy girl cumming"
It got too annoying and I just gave up and that crap.
I'm really annoyed that the US Feds, being still stuck in the Stone Age, decided to bow to the RIAA tyrants and banned LimeWire. Seriously, these days it's so much easier to get music without having to pay for it. It's called the Internet. However, some people don't seem to understand the concept of sharing for free and so they decided to bam these "threats" such as LimeWire instead of saving them (note the NG references). So now we are to live without LimeWire.
RIP LimeWire, my friend, you will be missed greatly.
RIAA, you've only just felt the backlash, prepare to be bammed yourself!

Hey ho, the banjo's dead!!!
LimewireSucked Anyway!
Gave me Computer LOADS Of Viruses!
Just goto "Listen Youtube" to download your songs!
it takes about 2mins!
NEED A VOICE ACTOR?! YOU GOT ONE RIGHT HERE SWEETIE ;)
They can't do that. Limewire is just a means for people to share things, its not the companies fault if people upload and share copy righted material. Limewire has gone through several steps to try and prevent that, like for one when you download it asks you to no download copy righted material, you click yes and you do it anyway. Now i think it wont bring up anything that is classified as copy righted.

I was suprised people still used Limewire. I thought people realized it was mostly viruses and switched to a different P2P software or, crazy thought, actually bought music.
