Maybe I"m mistaken, but doesn't state law supercede federal law?

The DEA isn't going to do routine traffic stops or come to your house durring a party that's too loud. They have more important things to do. Prop 19 is good... and I'm thinking about moving to california myself if it passes.

BC's economy will go down the shitter with our export business down 40% or so.
It makes sense to do, but it doesn't make economic sense.

It would definitley be an improvement because it can only go uphill from there. Everybody was disappointed that there were only gay marriages in Massachusetts, but that paved the way for states like Iowa, New Hampshire, etc. to legalize it. I always try to have high hopes, so I think we should keep a positive attitude and be thankful for whatever we are going to get. I think the only reason California is doing this is because they found a video of Arnold smoking weed.

I think all the stoners forgot to vote. lolol.
Literally the only argument against it was "THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"
Yeah, and having street gangs come up to them and sell it is way better than a fucking age limit mandated in stores everywhere.

My thoughts exactly. Reminded me of that Simpsons episode with Phish.

Well, congradulations, you jerks. The bill did not go past California even though we have verifiable evidence of Arnold smoking weed. We should put him in jail because he did not work to legalize it harder. At least we managed to still have gay marriage in a couple of states. In fact, everything for this election turned out really badly, with the only exception being that Christine O'Donnell did not get elected, so thank whatever God you worship for that at least.

...and nothing changes. The people keep smoking pot... just like we always have.
Except now, we all still feel like criminals and continue to dispise the system. We refuse to work with the police, we have zero trust in the system, and out lack of compramise continues to cost the states millions in waisted jail space, cop time, trial time, and paperwork over a crime with zero victems.
In the meantime, the economy sucks and nobody has any jobs... sure we could give them jobs growing pot, harvesting pot, packaging pot, shipping pot, and selling pot but that would make too much sense.
We continue to take our hard earned dollars and spend it illegaly on the substances we're all going to continue to use... except now our american money ends up in the hands of foreigners and goes towards buying guns and fueling a violent gang war that none of us want any part of.
But when somebody snaps and shoots up a house party whos fault is it? Music and video games? Fuck that, it's the systems fault for creating the monster to begin with by forcing us to back crime syndicates and treating us all like criminals until we feel like caged animals constantly under watch from an invisible all-seeing eye that wants to do nothing more then litterally throw us in a cage after they've taken all the money we worked so hard to earn.
None of it makes any sense to me...
That's ok though, keep drinking your alchohol and popping your pills... you can abuse drugs to lose weight, lower your cholesteral and even give old men boners even if it comes with the expense of "loss of bowel control, increased earge of gambeling, and death"... that's legal... drugs are legal in this country if their harmful as fuck, permantly alter the brain, bring about intesne phyiscal dependance, and their all made by a government backed pharmacuitcal company. But a naturaly growing, non-adicitive, harmless drug like marijuana and all of it's users are the ones who need to be taken off the streets and prosecuted to the furthest extent.
Clearly these are the criminals of society.

Did you know that when the Netherlands legalized marijuana, the rates of people smoking marijuana actually went down? I have even heard a guy on this very website who said that he will stop smoking marijuana if it gets legalized. I have little clue if he was being sarcastic or not, but if people want us to stop smoking marijuana, then we have to legalize it or else more and more people will want and take it! Morons.

Don't be too mad everyone, prop 19 was just a bad bill.
After all it allowed the smoking of weed and then driving.
