Please tell me that the good people of Newgrounds aren't as crazy as Glenn Beck, or the Qu'aran burning folks.

I know for a fact that my Muslim friends would much rather make money than eat your babies or blow themselves up. Infact, we're all pretty much the same in that sense.

I mean, Muslims in our country is a good thing!, We educate them, give them great opportunities that they would not have had back home. We are not a nation of Christians, nor whites, we are all in this together. If the community would simply accept them more we could make this work.

If you really want to live in constant fear and paranoia be my guest, I would much rather have my freedom, than give it up for security purposes.

So, just making sure, how many NGers are prejudice against muslims, it would take someone with real balls to admit they were.

My response upon seeing a Muslim is exactly that of when I see any other person - a friendly "smile" and a wave, or ignoring completely and getting on with my business. Usually the latter. I don't discriminate. And I'm pretty sure that a good load of other people here don't either.

I have no problem with any people coming to my country and spread a little of their culture on ours. But there is a line and here in the UK people believe that line is being crossed. Pockets of muslims in the country are trying to force their culture on us and due to the "holy shit u fucking racist scum" card being played all the time, society is bending to muslim culture (slightly). If you settle in a foreign country i believe you must respect their culture and embrace it whilst in turn share yours with them not shove it down their throats or else if you don't like the way whatever country they settle on is, get the fuck out.

Islamophobia is a growing problem in much of the western world.

I believe that people should be tolerant of others and their culture but no one should have to abide by the customs of a faith that they do not belong to. Much of the backlash against Islam is the perceived threat that Islamic culture is being forced down the throats of people who are not Muslim. Islam is only a threat to other cultures when it is used by radical fundamentalists to push an agenda, in the same way that Christianity has for centuries been used to rally people for or against causes that Christians feel are a threat to "Christian values."

I only have problems with individuals. Also, I find it irritating when those individuals effect my entertainment. A certain group of Muslims (not every Muslim obviously) forced the episodes of South Park that depicted Mohamed off the air and off of South Park Studios.
They gave into threats, something we're supposedly fighting against. Feel bad for Matt, Trey, and South Park fans.
