Good customer service is outsourced people yelling through a phone telling things you've done a hundred times, excellent customer service is a sarcastic person who helps you but really doesn't care and will make wise cracks about everything.
That's the best it gets.

Good would be assisting a customer...
Excellent would be exceeding the customer's expectations, and watching him leave with a smile on his face.
