I am 14 years old, and I have created a flash game.
It's a sequel to my first, and it's something that will most likely be featured on the front page, just like the first one was (which is why I am asking this question)...
It's got blood, gore, and violence. It's a scary game. But there's no nudity or language, so do you think since I am 14, and I started this project when I was 13, that it can go as being rated T instead of M?
***I'm asking this in the general forum for a reason. This isn't something only a flash developer could answer.

it will probably rated T, or if it features too much blood, gore, violence, zombies, dead people, stuff... it may be rated M just like satanorium.

Well if the blood and gore could easily bump it up to M. For example, if the SAW movies had no language or nudity, they wouldn't be rated PG-13. I don't know if your game is that gruesome, but it still sounds like M to me.

This is as bad as it gets. Is it too much for T?

As long as there aren't any brutal murders leave it at T.

sometimes it can be a little hard telling apart if it should be t or m.
But then you just have to remember, this is newgrounds, who is honestly going to give a shit if you use the wrong rating.

Who cares? It can be rated M or w/e and everybody on NG is still going to play. Very VERY few people actually check the ratings of a game before they play it.

i dont see how you care so much though
I got a TON of complaints on my last game that it should have been rated M. And this one is twice as bad, but personally, I don't think it should be rated M. I'm just worried the majority will disagree.
I dunno, I guess I could always just change it if things get out of hand.

No one of any importance would complain.

If there's some violence, it's T. If there lots of violence, it's M. Looking at that screenshot, you're definitely fine with a T rating.
Additionally, even though you're 14, you've got full artistic license to make anything you want (excluding pornography and stuff restricted by law to adults). There's no central board of ratings or content for Newgrounds, so it's up to the author; if you want to make something for mature audiences, go right ahead.

Oh man I remember playing this game a while ago. I liked it when I first played. I agree with it being teen and I'm going to favorite it.
