I attended a wedding of one of my relatives not too long ago, one of my cousins had a bunch of those silly bands on. I asked him what they were, and he pretty much told me everything about them. They kind of remind me of trading cards, considering you pay exorbitant prices for a few of them, and then you trade them around.

He was wearing like thirty of them on each of his arms. I found it kind of odd for a 12-year old boy to be running around with dozens of neon-colored bracelets, but maybe that's just me.
