I went to school and speculated on what was happening. I had gone to school before the second tower was stuck so I didn't know for a while that it wa an intentional attack. It was quite sureal.

I actually ate some spicy sunflower seeds that day. I remember it vividly for a specific reason.

i was only in the fifth grade when 9/11 happened, so i was still a stupid fuck. anyways, my mom bought me this huge bag of sunflower seeds that were seasoned with some spicy awesome shit..and i ate the entire bag.

the kicker? i did not break the shells and spit them out, i just SWALLOWED THE FUCKERS.

Some of you are probably like "so wut lal", but it turns out that my digestive system can't break down those shells and i had to shit all of them out.

there was blood in my shit for ~ a week.

I was conducting a drill that taught me how to take cover if planes ever crashed into buildings

I went to school, big deal.

I was in sixth grade, we were at school when the attack happened, we watched the first building smoking then the second plane hit. After school I rode bikes with my cousins, we didn't really know what was going on or what to think about it, but we heard if any more buildings fell we'd get out of school the next day.

I was watching the news.

Went to my brothers wedding and drank my fucking ass off!!!

I think I was in 2nd grade.

I remember my mom telling my sister and I about it after we got off the bus, my sister started crying and my dad told her to stop being such a pussy because it's not like she knew any of the people.

Me being from the NYC suburbs, I remember more than most of you would.

I was in school when it happened, and I didn't hear about anything until the After School program. The teachers looking after us while our parents were at work had the radio on and were listening to it. I was just on the jungle gym. Then my mom came to pick me and my sister up at like 6PM, and I remember it was sunset, we're in my school parking lot, and she had a little gray dust on her. it must've fallen on her from someone on the train that was at the towers. She told us that the twin towers fell because planes flew into them. I remember being home that night and seeing Military Fighter jets flying over my house. I recall that night, as my mom tucked me into bed, asking her " will the towers fall on us? ". me being so young I didn't quite understand whats happened.

All that week my dad went in and out of the city with my towns police officers to help rescue and recover. he'd come home at night covered in dust, and one night he brought home some debree stones he found, which we still have.

I think a week or 2 later, I went to my uncle's apartment on staten island and went onto his balcony. He had seen the second plane go in from there with his own eyes, and says the plane was so close that he could've hit it with a baseball. I looked at where the world trade center once stood, and just saw a faint cloud of smoke/debree rising from that area.

thats all I can recall. well, actually we did put a candle out on our walk-way every night that week like every other house in our town did. but thats about it.. I was young.

I was eating dinner and I saw it live. I remember thinking something to the effect of, "Oh great... America is going to flip out and nuke somebody."

laughed and said; hey look at those stupid americans, they all look like pussies when they got a bomb on their asses.

What I did was not much as there was not much I could do. I was pretty shocked by it, but the thing I remember is that I was at school and the teacher said that there were only six people injured! Obviously, he was trying to make me feel better, but that's a downright lie. I really don't remember anything beyond that, except for the fact that my family went to eat at Red Robin that night, and I was good at arcades there.

went to a back-to-school-BBQ. Those sick bastards.

Here is what I really did...

I was 4 at the time... I just came home from preschool and turned on the T.V For Spongebob, but there were planes hitting buildings on the TV... so I chanced the channel...

I did that for the entire time until I realized it was real and thought they would take out the Sears Tower -- My stepfather was working there.

Luckily they didn't but I had cried until he came home and asked what was going on.

He told me... And to this day, I still hear him muttering "Fucking Terrorist" under his breath when he watches the news.

I was 7, saw it on TV and got really scared of terrorists. Then... no idea what I did next. Probably watched Power Rangers or something.
