3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsShould we complain about them? We always will, but I'm not talking about that its not going by canon standards. Almost (if not all) the comics we see be made into movies have been given revamps for the new readers to better understand, and a lot of the older readers feel like they have been wronged. Isn't it better that the people in those stories be continuously retold; instead of one very long and dawn out sign that the writer has nothing else better to do? CG and actors aside shouldn't the story be better and not just the same thing we guy for like 3.99 at a store?
also the deadpool movie better not suck
No.
Most people who don't read comics (like me) never hear of good ones until movies come out about them.
For example, I would never have read Watchmen if I hadn't seen the movie first.

Ah and here goes one of the exceptions. (To my knowing) Watchmen has no revamp other than the movie pic comic. and unless you get the blueray edition you don't see everything that you wanted from comic to movie.
Why show a gang bang of Dr. Manhattan and not the origin of warshak's mask?
Changing the story for the movies, completely, no.
But it's okay to tweak things here and there.
Like with Spider-Man -- Uncle Ben wasoriginally murdered in his home. But for the sake of the movies, it was portrayed as a car theft thing.

Because the gang bang was relevant. Tee hee.
Also, it's Rorschach.
Anyway, people will always find something to complain about. When one entertainment medium is adapted to another, changes have to be made. Always. No exceptions. Fans of the original don't always seem to understand this, and everyone has their own idea of what a movie adaptation should be like.
Some of them suck, some of them rock. What can we do about it?
Life is a performance, and the world is full of critics. Give it your all like it's your last show.
You don't even want to know

I can get along with this. It's annoying to see characters act out of character and things being changed completely.
Garfield was attrocious at that. Yes, the comics suck too for most people, but one of the premises they threw away completely was Jon being a total wuss who doesn't sway any woman. And that's just sad...
