New User Image Sizes Oct. 19th, 2010 @ 04:14 PM Reply

Rob just launched our new user image submission forms!

These forms allow us to collect larger user images for the upcoming wide layout.

Your user profile image (currently 212x159) will now be 270 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall.

Your user icon (currently 46x46) will now be 60x60.

Links to update your User Icon and Profile Image are on your account page.

Until the site goes wide you will see traditional-sized versions on your page. Update now and be READY FOR THE INEVITABLE!

If you run into problems with the upload, PM me with complete details of the error along with your browser type, version and computer OS. You can also email your picture to tom AT newgrounds.com and we can test it if the upload form rejects it. The subject of either should be "USER IMAGE BUG."

I just uploaded the new-ish pictures ready for the new image layout. It's more of the same as what I have now but I'm sure the bigger images on my userpage will look impressive as well as the layout as a whole.

What about the releases for other consoles? There was 5 in the trailer, will the releases for the other systems be out soon?

Gonna get right on it sir! Everything's looking really next gen, can't wait for the update. By the way, just a suggestion, for the update, instead of having the navigation bar up top horizontal, wouldn't it be a good idea to make it vertical? Now, there's hardly room for anything else, that was clear when you could hardly squish Art into there. If you made it vertical, you can keep adding on without worry.
