AIDS isn't just spreading through sex. Medical procedures in rural africa are not known for their cleanliness and sterilization techniques. Not to mention that poor villagers are not going to be able to get tested for AIDS, and you may not feel the effects until it is too late. Water pollution from feces can also spread the disease. Butt-secs is not the only was for HIV to be transfered.

You know not one person has EVER died from having AIDS. The AIDS virus itself will not kill a person. It weakens your immune system, making it easier for other diseases to kill you.

You're an ignorant little bastard, aren't you? I lived in Sierra-Leone for about three months, before our work was cut short by a medical emergency. The AIDS isn't spreading because they're wildly having sex all the time. The AIDS is spreading because there's no sanitation, no medical help, and no information. The ground is covered in garbage and glass, and the people don't have shoes. Parents have 10+ children, so that maybe one or two will survive to be adults. Those children contract AIDS. Death of a spouse isn't uncommon, so men and women switch partners often and have MORE children. That further spreads the disease. All of these things contribute. You ask why the people with AIDS don't just stop having sex? Well how are they supposed to know? You can't just go to the nearest clinic and get a quick blood test.

Before speaking anymore, I suggest taking the stick out of your ass and actually DOING something to help.

I think it is no coincidence that a continent so rife with AIDS is simultaneously so strongly anti-gay. There are 86 countries in the world where homosexuality is illegal and the largest concentration of them (after the Middle East) is in Africa. I bring this up because homosexuals DO exhibit significantly higher levels of STDs, and not just AIDS...

After reading that I have to admit that I no longer think "homophobia" is just blind hate. For some, particularly in Africa, this is something of a health issue. When you think about it, homosexuals have sex with bi-sexuals who have sex with straight people. Trying to ban homosexuality (and homosexual acts by bi-sexuals) would theoretically diminish the spread of STDs across the board as it is most common amongst the homosexual community.
