I joined Newgrounds in 2004, looking for "a good time". I was presented with many funny and original flash movies and games that kept me very well occupied for a large slice of my available free time. I got into World of Warcraft, but not even the evils of that could cause me to be without my favourite online community.

The BBS and ability to review gave me an expressive outlook, where I could help people to improve their creations and rant about sports and life in general.

Through the 2007 redesign, I feel that I became one of the more rominent users as far as stats were concerned, as I took over the maintenance of three lists on Newgrounds - Review Responses, Saves and Blams. These I still maintain to this day.

In 2009 I became a Review Moderator and in 2010, a BBS mod. I now feel that my contribution is as valued as ever. With the advent of the Writing forum, I feel that I am still going from strength to strength, alongside that of the community at large. Attending the meets only helps to embolden this and I support Newgrounds wholeheartedly.

It all started in 1880 and fuck it this is a +1 thread none of you will actually read this.

Created an account and built up some exp and had some levels.

Didn't discover the bbs or how to B/P for a really long time so things were pretty lame up until then.

Started B/Ping hardcore and joining C&Cs as much as I could, found a nice home in the Newgrounds Department of Defense for a while.

Left for roughly a year until the redesign, where I came back and had a good time on the site.

Left for 6 months more and now I'm back at level 35 like a boss.

2005 = I found NG, got Flash, made horribly sucky movies, etc.
Then I started reviewing flash, etc., shitty english, horrible gramers and spel in, and childishness.
Left around 2007.

Came back 2009, acted a bit less like an idiot but still sorta.

Came back mid-late 2010, and here I am.

Barrelsfox (Know this site since 2000's, and finally made account on 2007, did not become really active, then in 2007ish and 2008-9 was coming to the forums and then now. Still not really active

Made a user for not sure what reason. Can't even remember it happening.

Never really contributed much and have been on and off on the boards.

I came, I posted, I posted more, and I didn't conquer anything.

2004 - First came to the website.
2008 - First officially signed up for the website.
2009 - Became one of the site's most prolific reviewers.
2010 - Released an audio reel

That's about the most important things I can think of for each year.

First site I ever signed up on + I just got Internet access, so I was 100% noob. :b
Made some Flashes.
Joined a crew.
Stopped making Flashes and stayed on the forums.
Posted SEVERAL idiotic posts on the forums throughout 2007-2009.
"Ragequit" Newgrounds around 2008, and went to Youtube.
Got slightly smarter.
Went back to Newgrounds around 2009 but stayed on the forums.
Tried to prove that I grew up, but failed... horribly.

Had an account in 05 (pikachunumber407, i think). When I was 9/10.

Made another one in 09 (sirwolfy) . Stopped using it.

Made this one in '10, so now I look like a noob even though I'm technically a VETERAN WITH 3K+ POSTS

2002 (I'm eight years old): My first introduction to newgrounds, which happened because I asked my brother if he knew a cool site with free games. I was totally hooked, even though I'd get to use the computer three or four times a week.

2003: Newgrounds was quite important to me, most of the time I'd go here to play games with my best friend after school. During this year we found the mature section which was totally new to us (the furry adventure game was fucking weird to us O_o). Good times were had.

2004: I started going to Newgrounds a lot less since we had had two PCs during that year. Newgrounds was somewhat replaced by SEGA and SNES emulators and some random indie games. Nothing particularly important in this year.

2005: Nearly forgot about newgrounds, due to a brand new laptop.

2006 (made my account): I was a newb, basically just quoted posts I thought were funny with "win" and "epic post". My english was extremely poor, but being here I developed it more. Everything was interesting and new to me. The whole idea of communicating with the world anonimously online was just insane.

2007: Started visiting the forums twice as often. Though I still didn't fully grasp how the forums work and was trolled big time, and got mad at people all the time.bI made lots of pointless threads that serve no purpose at all (some things never change lol). I also started submitting short flash movies to the portal, but most of them got blammed since I spent like 3-6 hours on them.

2008: Newgrounds, the BBS mostly, is becoming an addiction now. I switch from macho douche who "seen it all" and doesn't get affected by gruesome videos...Well, in a way I didn't! It made me feel better about myself even if it's just because I didn't get frustrated over beheading videos lol. Also submitted a movie, can't remember which one (check it out in my profile).

2009: This was last year, but I can't really remember anything important. I started being more helpful and sometimes even witty. I guess it takes about three years to understand how the BBS works. No, not to understand but to feel it and experience it. If I remember correctly I was sort of a stat-whore, but not that much.

2010: Well, this is this year. I'm now a depressed fuck who can't stand up for himself and achieve something. I keep making even more posts every day since I have nothing better to do with my time. Or if I do I don't have the will to do it.

To sum it up:

When I came here, I was a happy little kid who found something new.

...But now, everything's different.

2008: The forums are now becoming an addiction.

I started here under a different username like 7 years ago, then kinda forgot all about NG until about a year ago. Back then I remember the forums being hounded by 12 year olds complaining, I see not much has changed so I only post in the forums when I'm extremely bored.

I mainly just listen to the audio portal and watch videos. I don't know how to do flash.

Joined Newgrounds, left a few reviews, messed around in the flash forum, made a few games, got a few hundred thousand views. :]
