Yeah, honestly. I have a new computer with 3GB ram and 2.4 dual core processor. It still has trouble keeping up. I bought Civilization V, and it lags like no other. Some games that I love that do work: Civilization III, Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2, Sins of a Solar Empire (The only recent game with good graphics that runs like a charm).
