The only thing a PC can't do that a console can, is play specific games. Halo 3, reach, ODST, for instance.

I like the pc more, but I don't really think either is better than eachother.
The PC has the possibility for mods, it has better graphics, almost always, and you aren't very limited on how new the game has to be to play it(for example, I can play the original Doom on my Alienware Desktop, but I can't play MGS2 or 3 on my ps3.).

The consoles are great for people who aren't too technical and also great for children. The possibilty to have 4 players at once is awesome too. It also makes it easy for developers bcuz all of whichever console they're developing for is exactly the same.

Why does there need to be an argument about this, why does there have to be a clearly defined 'winner'. Just you can be assured that your preferred format is the best and therefore sleep easily. Who honestly cares which is 'best' for whatever reason, just ask yourself, do I enjoy it? If yes keep doing so, don't seek to convert everyone else.

PC is far more open-ended, but console is more ideal for multi-player and online play sometimes. I'm a PC kinda guy, in the end.

Well that's easy..you should play every fps games on the pc because obviously it's way better having freelook using a mouse instead playing it on a console. Gaming on the PC is also usefull because you can download them for free. But i'm using the Xbox these days because i'm a faggot with a low end computer.

Possible. let's see:
FF VII, each loading screen kept glitching ending with an error
Command and conquer Renegade: Kept claiming not to be supported by graphix card
Sims 2: Graphics card glitched and had to be replaced
Other games simply wouldn't run, even when they were legit

Currently my laptop works rather nicely, albeit occasionally run time errors on some of the games.
My wife's PC crashed and her new PC for some reason no longer supports the games it should be fully capable of doing so.

Consoles don't run into run-time errors (or I've not seen them do so) and have infinite storage space, so i think that simply trumps PC gaming.

PC gaming lost popularity in 128/256 bit era. The main cause in the decline of it's popularity was the PS2 and first Xbox. Which is weird, because Microsoft designed the Xbox to convert console players to PC players. But that plan backfired, and look where we are now. Processing power is indeed superior to the current generation consoles, but the GPU's on the market are about the same or marginally better than what we got on consoles.

Aside from that, customized PCs are expensive to maintain and they can rack up your electricity bill if you leave your tower and monitor plugged in 24/7.

PC gaming is only good for first person shooters and RTS' anyways, which both suck ass.

Gran Turismo aint coming to PC. Nor does anything else I want to play that isn't already on console... And, what's the PC got going for it? Graphics?... Well graphics are good enough for me, and that's not something I whore over.
