Newgrounds after Tom

In my opinion, Newgrounds has been doing well under the leadership of the one and only Tom Fulp. When it is his time to leave, who would be the worthy candidate to be his successor? That is the question of this topic at hand.

I'd say that while there will be some major changes to the hierarchy and that it won't advance nearly as fast without the guidance of a single person (therefore a united front), life in Newgrounds would basically continue as normal - people submit, people talk, people die. Rinse and repeat.

If it someone who knows how to program then it's definitely not Wade or Stamper.

Probably a new group from a future generation, since only a programmer wouldn't be able to handle everything or even draw the updated material as well as an artist.

Assuming Newgrounds lasts that long, which it likely won't.

Plus, think of what Sanjay did. Sanjay had his account deleted because he didn't want his son to be exposed to the content of Newgrounds. Why would Tom want his son growing up on this site? He can't hide it from his son forever.

Like stated, a relative of Tom or some random Admin. Newgrounds will most likely live on for a very, very long time. The reasoning is simple; it has a flash portal, an audio portal, AND an art portal. Each one is very significant. The flash portal helps us compete with YouTube and is a very large form of entertainment. The audio portal is the only place off the top of my head that lets musicians upload their own music and get critique, which to me is a big deal. And the art portal helps us compete with deviant art. If these things weren't enough, we have a writing forum (which I'll admit is slow) and we have our own profile pages. In my opinion, NG is simply a superior site.

I would like to think Tom's kid, keep Newgrounds in the Fulp family. But by then, if NG is still around, we'll have a whole new generation of artists and programmers. Most of the current admins will most likely be gone to have younger people in their place.
