Been playing some Minecraft Hunger Games recently and I must say, it's freaking scary as hell. Each game starts off with 120 players, you start off with a kit you personally choose (there's like 11 kits in total) each with their own special items, and everyone has 2 minutes of immunity. You either hide underground until you see no one above you or you stay in the open hoping to kill someone. Getting food is hard as hell since everyone is competing for the same thing, so if you're stuck in a cave somewhere with low hunger then you're forced to kill zombies and eat their meat. There's also a forcefield that stops anyone from going further but the map is fairly big. You also start off with a compass which tracks a player within 1000 blocks range, so the games won't drag on for too long.

The Minecraft Hunger Games - There's 11 servers in total and each one has a capacity of 120 players.

Also, there are other servers such as Capture The Flag, Race of Death, and Hardcore PVP.

Just wanted to share this if anyone's been looking for a PVP server and hopefully we'll meet up in a game together. :3

Basically you just join in any one of their servers since there's no whitelist. The problem is it gets filled up really quickly so you'll have to time it right just to get in. You can buy VIP membership to get in if the server's already full, though I don't recommend it. Here are the IP's for the Hunger Games:

So I started a match. I think someone was cheating. He hit me with a sword from approximately 8 blocks away. That wasn't a fun experience at all.

You can see people's names through walls from miles away. This is about as fun as repeatedly jumping off a cliff in Minecraft.

Yeah, there's cheaters in the game though normally they get spotted by a spectating admin and get banned immediately. Though you would expect hackers to be in a PVP server wouldn't you?

You can sneak so you people can't see your name. People who don't usually sneak get themselves killed when they're mining. I usually sneak every time I do something, the only time I don't sneak is when opening my inventory and crafting things.

Tycrane, every single one of those servers on that site are full of hackers.

All the HG servers were full, so I went for a CTF game. There were like 10 people with fly mods, using them in short bursts, as if no one is gonna notice a person jump 7 blocks in the air.

And on the standard PvP server, there seems to be nothing but people completely new to MC and hackers. When a new batch of people join, a few of them will just fly away like flocks of geese. Luckily they get banned. But then you have the X-Rayers; I buried my base 5 blocks down, and some guy just makes a 1x1 tunnel down into it, and unearths all my buried chests. >:( But I killed his ass, sadly he didn't have a thing in his inventory.

Yeah it's a shame really...

The only way you can hide your stuff away from X-rayers is burying your chests with iron ores since they can't see through it. That's what I usually do with my stuff. Plus I like to keep myself 2000 blocks away from spawn so no one could find my base. Never played CTF though looking at the forums of the site there's been an influx of hackers in the game. Hopefully they do something about it since it really ruins the game.
