I'll admit, I haven't had this much fun playing Minecraft in months :)

I enjoyed playing with all of you who stopped by, and wasting my entire day playing Minecraft xD The new town is developing nicely (z:600 area for those of you who don't know)

I have my own server infact and there are a bunch of mods, like the Stargate mod - which I think are excellent.

Me and Xports are currently waiting for our server to finish getting set up. It should be up today.
Other than that, I'm not aware of any other servers unless Seed's is working again.

Is your server going to be filled with cheating and Ops doing stupid shit like lightning commands, mob spawning, etc?

I don't even know why server admins give people the lightning commands, they had it on an old server I was mod on and I can't tell you how many times the other mods just sat there and killed other players.

Yeah, they also broke my chests and stole all my crap. No big deal, since it's just a temporary world.

I'd recommend having a topic in VG for your server where people post their in-game name before being whitelisted. That way we can connect a given minecraft account to a BBS account, which gives people more (sorry) accountability.

Yeah, my buried chests were found and I lost all my diamond armor, my watch, and my map. A couple of people were posting grief requests for our server on AVO's youtube channel, I'll pull up the accounts when I am not feeling lazy.

I'm starting a little project for a second world on my server. I've posted a request on the bukkit forums, but if nobody helps out, I'm going to do it myself. I have a feeling that it will change the way some of us play Minecraft forever. Just don't get bitten...

Also, I'm playing with Spoutcraft. If you haven't heard about Spout it allows server mods to do the impossible - change music, change skins, blocks, player gui....basically anything that was "that's impossible, that's a client mod" before - IS possible now!

I found this diagram of mob grinder but I am little confused.

It shows the water passing through the cactus, does the water actually flow through them with items?

The water doesn't pass beside the cactus, it passes between two cacti. The cacti are to kill spiders.
