This is what my TV guide says about tonight.

Wildfire: Rick leads the group to the CDC; Jim must make a life or death decision.

I think Jim dies because the commercial showed the black lady crying over what looked like him. What the hell is the CDC?

Centers for Disease control and prevention, based in Atlanta.

It's basically a government run place that researches things like diseases, what causes them, what cures them, and how to prevent them. That and health in general.

It's where all the samples to be tested for swine flu in America had to be sent, because they were the only ones with the facilities to test for it. I remember because my doctor told me that when I had swine flu.

I just found myself chanting "Shoot the bitch!!" at my TV.

Also, was anyone else thinking that was gonna end in hot lesbian on zombie lesbian action.

Well, she took the time to mourn because it was her sis, right?
Although I must admit. I almost did see Lesbian Zombie Action coming!

What the, the scientist is fucking retarded, he just blew up all his samples. Also, when did CDC install flamethrowers in their rooms? This was not in that movie Pandemic!

Is anyone else becoming more and more upset as how the t.v show is straying away from the comics?

Spoiler from tonights episode:
Where the hell did this scientist come from?
and where the hell are the 2 little boys Carl is supposed to be friends with?
They aren't even improving the comics with their changes, I knew this would happen as soon as I heard they were making a t.v series.

Awesome. Although, another character doesn't mean anything good. Look at what happened to the camp!

This episode was a pretty good one. I am really excited to see what this scientist is all about. He seems like a nice enough guy, but I also felt some odd vibes coming off of him. I was also pretty sad when Jim died. He seemed like a nice enough guy.

Jim was a p. cool guy, too bad they apparently killed him off. The scientist guy seems pretty quirky judging by his 5 minute screen-time. Interesting how they ended the episode but I thought the brightness of the door opening was unnecessary, lmao.

No. I don't think that the purpose of making the show was to make a frame by frame replication of the comic.

Spoiler from tonights episode:

I think some people have already beat you there.

Where the hell did this scientist come from?

A female's uterus, I assume.

and where the hell are the 2 little boys Carl is supposed to be friends with?

Not in the show.

They aren't even improving the comics with their changes,

That isn't the purpose of making a show.

I knew this would happen as soon as I heard they were making a t.v series.

Good thing no one forces your face into the screen every Sunday night.

By far this was my favorite episode so far. I actually got anxious in certain parts and they finally did a great job on implementing a good balance of story, drama, and action. There's still a ton of story that could unfold, but with such little time to do it. I'm pumped.

I'd watch this as a movie in one sitting.

The new episode fucking sucked.
It was drug out and had minimal action, even worse than the previous episodes. I mean seriously, half of the shit on that episode was irrelevant and/or did nothing to deepen or resolve the plotline. About 15 minutes was spent on the two sisters just sitting there looking at each other, then we had to watch the guy who got bit (Frank?) sweat and bitch about how he wasn't feeling too well for a long time, just to see him laid on the side of the road.

The only interesting part was at the very end when it introduced the new character from the CDC. It gave some clues to what might be going on outside of Atlanta and how they plan to stop the infection. Also it broke up the monotany of watching the people at the camp act with indecision and quarrel.

I think the next episode is gonna be a good one though.

Why's everyone so fucking upset that there's not enough action and too much drama. THE GENRE OF THE SHOW IS A DRAMA. There's going to be bickering and arguing as that is a crucial part of dramas. If you don't like it go away.

I wish people would stop complaining that the show isn't totally zombie killing... For real you guys it's getting old... We all know they aren't killing zombies 24/7 but if you think about the situation and how it would be in reality, it would most likely be the same... It's supposed to be as realistic as possible in that sort of situation. Besides that they are trying their best to show how the characters change throughout this happening and I think they're doing a fantastic job at that... They're making it so much different than the comics and I'm loving it..

Last episode was fine, enjoyed the entire thing... Jim's actor was great and I hope some time we can see a Jim zombie.

Yeah, whatever.

Yeah, to me, it was a filler episode.

The amount of screentime spent with Andrea's sis and Jim was unbelievable. They had minimal developments and detail thrusted at them beforehand so I have no clue who either are or why should I care if one's dead or becoming a zombie. I wasn't moved by Jim's willingness to be left behind or by the way Andrea cradled her undead sister.

That Mexican guy and his family left but I had no idea they were, so good riddance. I'm kinda glad a lot of the useless characters have been shoved off somewhere. Next is for T-DAOWG to disappear.

The only real reason I'm disappointed is becayse the final episode of season 1 is next week and nothing's been set up. I kinda liked the foreshadowing of the crazed, alone scientist who is single handedly trying to cure the virus. He is legend. I guess its gonna end with a massive cliffhanger or something.

hey

I still don't approve of the fact that the one redneck cut off his hand instead of the cuffs >:(
And actually got somewhere...
Normally people pass out when they cut off a limb.

Fuck off I know it's just a show, but thats just stupid. The show is full of irrational decisions but that one topped it off.

This doesn't take away the fact that I love it :3
Less chopping off limbs, and more of what happened in the latest episode.
Moving from place to place, fuck yeah.
What the fuck are they thinking camping RIGHT outside the "city that got overrun by zombies". They warn everyone to stay away from there.
But it's a couple hours walking distance from their camp.

Enough ranting. More counting down until next episode.
