not even eat, i haven't seen a single person take a nibble from the horse, only pull it's guts out and frolic with them.

also, here's an obvious blooper; i took it directly from a dvd-rip so it's in the actual episode; not part of the making-of.

a coffee drinking zombie.

Anyways, the second episode was pretty damn epic.

Spoiler alert

Looks like the relationship between Shane and Lori will be a major plot part. I predict killing (not of the zombie kind) in the future.

Rubbing zombie guts all over to get around. I dunno why I laughed so hard when they were walking through the city.

The look the zombies were giving them were funny. They were like "wut?"

Then the rain washed the guts off, and the zombies realized they were IRL trolled.

First episode was better, but I still liked this one. I didn't mind the fence climbing as much as everybody else.

didn't that black guy knock over that toolchest? maybe if dixon calmed the fuck down he could notice the hacksaw and saw the handcuffs/his arm off and return later on as an antagonist.

This is going to create a lot of fun and excitement later. Not only that, but we still have a lot going on in the movie that could come back later.

In the first episode the black guy didn't shoot his wife. It might come back to bite him in the ass. Literally bite him in the ass.

The main characters wife is screwing his partner. This is going to create a lot of conflict later on. That on top of the guy being chained back we have a story that could go in so many directions.

Episode 2 was great IMO.
I've seen people upset about the fence jumping zombie, it kind of bothered me, but I guess there are some "advanced" zombies that can do shit like that.
The scene when Rick and Glenn were walking between the zombies was very stressful, maybe the rain passed a little too quick.
And good news people, AMC announced a 13 episode second season, that's awesome!!!!!! LINK!

Actually, I saw the making of. They're going to go the Trueblood route (where we have all the characters, but it isn't a carbon copy of the storyline. Different stuff will happen.).

Also, the creator said they're keeping Shane around for a while in this version.

i'm pretty sure either of these will happen:

A) gang arrives at the rooftop, vest-guy is thankful on the outside; but when nobody is looking: BAM! kills the black guy and blames the zombies, as part of a payback.

B) gang arrives at rooftop, but they don't find vest-guy, in an earlier event vest-guy managed to get the hacksaw from the toolchest that was near him and escaped. where? that'll be filler content for the next episode. as part of the drama involved; on the way to the rooftop people get eaten, that'll be a nice cliffhanger for the next episode.

C) a tank appeared, busted the door open; the gang arrives and only see a lot of blood, and a hand still attached to the handcuffs.

my guesses rly.

The first episode was great, very atmospheric, very enjoyable but it did have it's fair share of plotholes, e.g Rick has inifnite IV drip, isn't covered in his own piss/shit when he wakes up, no one sought to raid the police station for weapons, the zombies can climb fences and ladders (as seen in episode 2) but can't climb over a fence to eat a horse or over at the police station. At the end of episode 1, that bit under the tank where Rick aplogises was really out of place. And, it also showed the zombies eating the horse, :(, but they were just holding the organs and stuff to their face but not actually eating. That bugged me too.

The second episode was enjoyable too but it just wasn't as good as the first. I didn't like the rainbow coalition; the token black guy, the fat mexican, the racist red neck, the weedy yet plucky asian guy, the middle aged woman who acts as a cliche mother figure to her younger sister and some black chick who coincidentally works as zoning officer or some shit and knows the layout of the store they happen to be in. Nice writing guys. They all seemed so 'plastic'.

The 2 women in the SUPPLIES GATHERERS are seemingly useless, squeamish at the sight of blood and they have absolutely no practice with firearms. Merle is just, wow, a dumbfuck. The asian guy is seen driving down the EMPTY road leaving Atlanta city. For some reasons, they decided to not allow contraflow to evacuate the city. Rick also somehow starts a new model Dodge Challeneger with a fucking screwdriver. Pffft.

They also showed that the zombies can easily be avoided making the premise of "omfg we're screwed" somewhat retarded. Just cover yourself in guts, act like a zombie, hope it doesn't rain and you'll be fine.

However, looking over the various holes, it really is a tremendous show. It has really great feel to it. I can't wait till episode 3 because, I assume, Rick is going back to the camp omgggggggggg.

sorry for probably covering points already discussed, i found out this thread exists just now and haven't read through.

Yeah, wth right? She obviously knows that he won't wake up because she's been doing it with the other guy in the same tent as her son probably.

Anyway, their on their way back to the city. It's time for action, zombies, shooting, and best of all some brother to brotha drama.

Pretty good episode. I am loving the intense openings for each episode. As soon as Dixon got handcuffed last week, I knew he was going to hack saw his hand off. Pretty much a death sentence in my opinion though. Norman Reedus is fucking awesome as expected.
