It was poo after the first three episodes or so. The writing is incredibly vapid, sadly.

We still watch because of its potential, though, we all still will.

I had to stop the episode twice because I couldn't handle the cheesiness and cliches of some scenes, but the fact Rick's losing it is pretty cool.

Even if the show goes in a downward spiral, I will continue to watch it. Let's hope for the best.

I really wish the plot would have stayed in the suburbs. It is a more interesting local since they would almost always have to be on the run since no building could hold the zombies back.

I really liked the beginning because everything was a mystery. Why were the zombies created? Is everyone else dead? I really liked that in the series. Now it's just more "tough" decisions and people losing their minds. This is why I miss Dale. He was sane, and he still acted like a human being.

I have mixed feelings with last sunday episode (Suicide King) I enjoyed it overall but besides the escape of Merle and Daryl and the riot on Woodbury it wasn't very memorable or entertaining.

The zombies don't even seem like a huge threat anymore. It's really about these two feuding factions, with zombies in the background.

'The suicide king' s ending was fucking terrifying , at first I thought where did michonne get the gown and then I'm like oh , thats not michonne , thats rick going crazy and hallucinating that his dead wife is there.

That's the point, this is how it was shown in the comics as well. It's just displaying how the world can change and how people react to this new environment.
Also, I don't like Rick just trying to constantly get rid of Michonne.

Michonne doesn't really help her cause when she just keeps silent , I mean merle told us more in 30 seconds than michonne in the entirety of the screentime she's had.

It's a kind of subtle thing in the comics that the zombies are becoming less and less aggressive when unprovoked to the point where somebody refers to killing them as "just cleaning up the world" rather than doing so for survival, so that might be a part of it.

Now it looks like they're gonna replay the whole series in black and white.

Damn, AMC is milking the shit out of TWD.

If there is one thing that depresses me about this show it is the fact that the quality took a huge drop off after the pilot episode. Go back and watch it and then come watch these new episodes. The new ones are good and worth a watch, but the pilot was truly amazing television.

Um no not really.
If anything the quality has gone significantly up since the original, distancing itself from zombie flicks like "28 days later" by focusing more on what it would be like for a human to be interacting, living, and emotionally dealing with this environment with other humans.

The entire concept of Talking Dead is just stupid to me.

AMC just thinks they can milk WD even more with it.

SPOILER AHEAD

Goddamnit, I liked Axel. I was hoping he'd stay alive for at least a few more episodes. At this point, I say they tie Rick up, put Daryl in charge, and go find Tyreese. The damage to the gates isn't going to help much.
I think Merle had to go along with his brother, because he realized that if he ends up alone he's fairly screwed. The guy may be a badass, but he only has one hand.

I'm looking for the guy who puts the "rapist" in "therapist". Because I'm totally not him.

Also, MUSIC!! Check it out 'n stuff. {1}

Nice, just like the comics, in a way.

I want to see more Prison attack scenes, that was my favorite part of the Governor arc in the comics.

Good episode though I don't like it when they give a character character development right on the episode they die and not in episodes before. That isn't quality writing.

Seems like the new characters always drop like flies and the old characters usually manage to escape even in the face of overwhelming odds.

The best part was is that Carol literally used him as a meat shield. Perfect example of what happens to new characters.

You think so? I keep feeling like the acting is getting worse and the show is feeling more contrived. Things like Andrea's little speech in the previous episode was the most cheesy thing ever and it really takes me out of the show whenever it happens.
