Just as a point school has meant i couldent do much work but i think its imrpoved loads :)
Any suggestions for features.

No were near done so dont suggest the obviouse ( exp bar, level ups, shop )

only a few things:
- Collision on the building, you can walk on top of it
- In a battle, show the Enemies Hp remaining
- Improvement on animations/graphics
- Less blur/glow filters, overuse of these can make a game look aweful
Obviously more attacks/enemies/maps/interactive things such as:
- potions for mana increase
- leveling up
- food to heal you
Keep working on this and it could be very good :)

Yea some of these are planned, but as for the blurs and glows its cause my art sucks and they seem to make my art look less shoddy to pop a 1-3 blur on them

Looks pretty lame dude. I mean, there is almost no animation, everything just slides. You could put a ton of more time into this, graphic-wise. And as previously stated, you need to fix some collision errors. I also think the character's facial expressions should change a little, don't you?

Lol well I dont think it was original, but it looks like he obviously took inspiration from the part where you walk around and your not in battle.

Wow.. just wow... That whole game is un-original down to the god damn name... Clearly a copy of Final Fantasy, This game is more original than that fantasy crap...
A few features I would suggest
- Turn based sucks / Either get rid of it completely or add a uniqueness / be creative with it.
- Animation, As you said its still in Dev. so i'm assuming animation is coming up.
- HitTest's or some other form of collision as you can walk on top of buildings.
- Larger Maps and less " YOU CAN ONLY GO ONE WAY " that sucks specially for a free roam game, bit ironic.
- A tutorial or some sort of Plot
- Art this isn't essential as art is hard to do but it would benefit the game.
- More decorativeness, most of the area's are just grass with one or two rocks, make them eye candy BUT don't overcrowed like that fantasy bs game.

Well, this game is my first large project, im so far very proud of the work so far, thanks for suggestions but cummon im an amutuar programmer, this for me is good.
And for original ideas well i have almost finished wrighting up a pretty unique story.

It is getting way better! As previously stated, anybody who really just wants to down the guy for making his first big project then remember when you decided to make your first big project and how you needed a little help or crticsm?
You already said that everything is still in Dev, but to increase playability add WASD to the player controls. Some computers don't have arrow keys and num pads. It is just a suggestion otherwise I wouldn't be able to play it from my internet enabled computer and I see it is going very well, I would love to play it. I played the demo on a different computer.

Questions like that are the inspiration for so many great and innovative game ideas.
Answer it well and you may have something unique which could get more people talking about your game and suggesting it to others.

Holy shit you guys dicks. This kid is 14 and has basically made a basic RPG engine in two weeks. What have you assholes done? Ignore these dicks. Keep making your game it looks cool. You could always find an artist to help you once you get a little further along.

wow dude i am ur age and this shit is amazing i have been getting torn by people lately wich is making me lose intrest in flash but u have reinspired me to continue my projects and i enjoyed playing it WASD would be better control and the chracters could use more animation and some more stuff in the meadows and village but it is better than what half the assholes around here can do keep it up flashy!

Good job. Looks like your work is progressing nicely. Not sure why the criticism is so harsh and unprofessional, but I guess that's what you get on Newgrounds.
Anyways, just work on collisions and use overlays for things that you're walking behind or are obscured by.
As someone else said, change free roam movement controls to WASD.
It needs tons of work and isn't even at a stage where I'd suggest polishing anything yet, but it's making progress. If you stick with it you'll have something worth submitting for review. Even by the monkies here at Newgrounds :p
One small note, I would suggest skipping the "action" button step in combat. The menu that appears after you click that is what should be displayed in the first place.

Personally, I would do some art first for my game but its better to code first before art.
And besides, the game is still in pre-alpha so art doesn't exactly have to be top notch.

The game is at the stage where anything we could suggest is blatantly obvious and like you said already planned, so what is it you want us to say ? "OH WOW OMG SO GREAT 4 A 14 Y/O MAN DUDE OMFG111", hows that ?
Why not post it here when you're just finishing it up, or at least 70-80% done.

These are all just your opinions on gameplay types mixed in with swearing and abuse.
I find turn based gameplay is simply a sub-genre of RPG battle types the fact that you dont like it doesn't mean he should have to remove it.

No, what i wanted was advice and from the advice i have got so far iv decided to add wasd contolls and about overuse of filters well, yea thats basicly to hide my crap art skills..... not evreything suggested was planned ....
