Well, there are some good animes, but for the most part they're all cleshay and almost all have the same or just plain stupid storylines that feed off of angsty teenage hormones.
I love anime, but I'm not a huge junkie nerd. I pretty much just watch the ones they show here in America on Adult Swim, such as Bleach, Kekkaishi, Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Blood+, Death Note.
Bleach is my all time favorite, then Fullmetal Alchemist. I have actually been considering getting a transmutation circle tattooed on the palm of my hand. Damn it, maybe I am a huge nerd.
I enjoy anime. It is artistic, and usually full of meaning.
I enjoy otakus and their extensive knowledge of that which does not matter.
I enjoy watching endless debates about 'who would win in a fight'.
In short, I enjoy everything about it, but I do not love it.
Meh, I used to watch it more when I was 11 or 12. I guess you could say I grew out of it, but I have a few that I still like.
Samurai Champloo ftw 8)
I pretty much keep it on the down-low since the closest thing to anime most people I go to school with have seen is Dragon Ball Z (which I also love). Plus, I don't love it to the point I'll start watching Funimation like most of my friends do and talk about the shitty animes that play. Because it's so funny and awesome how overly perverted the characters act and look while fighting off some vampires/spirits/demons/etc.
Some are okay, others suck ass. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I love Death Note and Full Metal Alchemist. I can't stand One Piece, though, and I've never seen Naruto.
Sometimes the English version is better, but other times, like in Death Note, the English actors totally fucked up the voices, and the Japanese version with subtitles.
I apologize in advance.
I like some animes, but I'm not into anime as a whole, I'm somewhat selective about my anime
thanks for the sig Phobotech
I enjoy a nice little series of anime once in awhile. Mostly one's that have a really deep background. Like the story either gets dark and deep, or has some sort of hidden truth locked away inside it.
If I went up to my friends and even uttered the word anime, their minds go straight to hentai.
I go after the stuff like "Bleach" or "Full Metal Alchemist" only because they have that kind of deep vibe to them.
It's hard to explain, I am sure everyone has their own favorite type of anime.
Before I end this, I just wanted to point out my favorite out of all of the anime genre. Love Hina will always be my favorite series. Till this day, I still don't exactly know why, but it might be the way it's reached out to me. And I felt as if I had almost the same situation as them. Crazy, I know, but still a great choice of anime.

I watched Naruto to about the Shinobi contest thing(?), before Orochimaru attacked the village. Anything after that was just retarded to me and I stopped caring.
Anime is the thing that makes the Japanese so rich. I don't blame anyone for liking it, because some of the anime is just damn awesome.
I am kinda neutral on the subject of anime comics, some of my friends are obsessed with them and i don't know why. To me i don't care either way but in all it seems kinda childish. I don't hate them but i don't like them.
