3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsWhen my brothers and I were cleaning out my father's home this morning, we each found a cardboard with our names on it. It was all of the things that we left behind when we went to college. After shedding tears in silence, we opened them up and found things from our childhood. My brother Jose's box had his Sega Genesis collection, my brother Noel's box had things related to baseball, and my box had every little note that I've ever written in my childhood.
Those notes contained the names of friends, love interests, and anything else a preteen writes in his private journal. One note contained a list of things that my friend Noah and I wanted to do when we went off to college. The reason I point this out is because Noah died 4 years in a jet ski accident. Thinking about that made me feel disappointed; another life taken, and another goal unreachable. After more hours of reading, I noticed how everyone I used to know is nowhere near me today. The last note I made was on February 14, 2006, contemplating on whether to take a girl to a dance. I can't recall where she is or how she's doing nowadays.
You guys ever think about buddies from the past that you no longer speak to? Whether it was an acquaintance, or the guy/girl that you told everything to in the tree house.
Bounce Bounce Jiggle Bounce :3
I tend to just move on. Its not like my memory's are gonna bring them back.

Oh, my.
Such g-g-great nostalgia! IT'S JUST SO SAD!
Okay, okay. Maybe that was over dramatized. I love old memories, though...
I still have my dad's Atari 2600. Complete with his entire game collection.
He even created a priceless map of Pitfall, and I still have it and every manual for his games, even E.T.
CHOMP
Yeah. Some really good friends who moved away I'll never see again.
The sig that I'm wearin? Awesomely made by Skaren!
Also, I like annoying Americans by calling English football "real football" and American football "rugby".-Lost-Chances
i don't miss a single one of my old friends tbh
Ah, yet in my private moments of contemplation I have learned only it is not where those of your past are, it is not who they are now, it is not if you hold grudges to them now, but it is rather the times you spent then that measure the worth.
I do, often actually. My best friend from secondary school committed suicide a couple of years ago, and I think back to the times we had at school on a regular basis.
I do feel that the older you get the more nostalgic you get as well though. For me school was a long time ago, and it is nice to think back to the crazy stuff we got up to and how much things have changed in my life since then. I mean, my little sister has just got engaged, along with most of my school friends! When did I get so old?!?!

I don't really worry about it, I never really has friends growing up, I mostly spent time alone.
I enjoy being alone.
