What I'd recommend is simple, just make a few friends. You don't need that many, one or two is enough and better than your current situation.

What are you taking about? That movie was amazing. Just check out the Rotten Tomato score (96%). Along with that, it had an amazing score, done by Trent Reznor. It seems like a movie that doesn't seem very good, but I highly recommend you see it.

Sucks man. Things will fall into place. Join a club. I do find that being in some sort of sports related activity, because of the teamwork, can really help build relationships.

I sit at home all day every day, but when I'm social I can get away with being a narcissistic fuck who openly admits to using people for sex and still have people throwing themselves at me. I'm better at being social than you, I'd bet.

Well yeah, it's sort of hard to get narcissistic supply if you don't know anyone IRL. Of course, that's what Facebook is for...

I now how you feel, I am in the same situation. It gets hard knowing that there are people you can possibly be friends with, but just can't seem to bring yourself to even talking to them. Sitting around all day doing nothing wishing you could be out hanging out with people is something that really makes you just feel so alone; like you'll be alone forever.

And having a bad reputation does indeed make it worse, but it's still not impossible to make friends. The worse thing you can do about the situation is give in and just accept it, so you should just experiment with a few things. Try being funny, or just outgoing. Often coming off with quick witted jokes or comebacks will result in people thinking you're not only smart, but funny too. Also don't be afraid to goof off a little-just don't make yourself seem like an ass, that'll just make you seem more annoying to people.

Another thing, if someone shrugs you off, don't feel saddened by it. Just ignore it, people get shit from other people all the time. If someone shrugs you off, it doesn't mean you can't try again. If you do something/say something later that will impress them, they'll like you more, and it could make up for being shrugged off.
