I'm looking for ideas on a method to make things recognize slopes (and do something about it), if you didn't catch that.
A point in some direction will do, I don't need several pages of codes.

I sugges you to have a look too IsoEngine which is an open source engine in as3. It supports slopes or ladders ! It is a been long to load be patient it worths it.
