3.80 / 5.00 4,200 ViewsHey everyone, I'm currently working on some graphical assets for a simple yet addicting game I've dubbed "Angrypus."
I was aiming to create some basic (but appealing) visuals, as well as a game play type that people will get addicted to.
Here's what I've got so far:
http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1286080483 - Sprites & such
http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1286080454 - Title screen.
In terms of game play I was thinking along the lines of Luminara , only with an angry dumbo squid (played by you).
I'll discuss further the play mechanics after selecting a coder :).
The other info:
Flash version: CS3
Revenue split: 50/50 Sponsorship split: 50/50
contact info:
MSN (preferred contact method - by far): tjfp88@yahoo.com
Email: Dirgeance@gmail.com
let me know if I left any info out or if you're interested! Let's make a killer game and make bank doin' it ;D.
Here's a rather poor sample of the game play I'm trying to achieve. Using what little knowledge I have of AS2 + some copy-pasta code.

Just to help you envision the direction I'm trying to go with this:
Imagine hoards of enemies (all with varying abilities - check my graphical assets .swf) swarming in on you while you blast 'em with ink balls.
When they're hit, a juicy little particle effect comes into play...They burst into collectible white asterisks with a mild glow filter applied. These asterisks can be collected in a certain time span to give you score multipliers.
The ink bar seen in "Sprites and such" .swf acts as a gauge for the ink beam.

After the player chooses to exert the entire beam, the squid will be unresponsive for a moment to recoup.
Just some of the game play factors I've been testing/mulling over I guess.
Try using Newgrounds Dump to upload your files, swfcabin looks good and is simple but it has very slow servers.

Good luck! :)
Also, try the Flash forum. You could find a good one.

I would say this is a fine post for the collaboration forum, since people don't always look at the list of people looking to collaborate topic.
But I can't script so you're out of luck from me
