What's about Death Note ? That's the best anime i've ever seen.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, there is a link on the first episode.
But I especially like the manga, the end is not the same.

I have the manga. All of it. I love it.
L's death is pretty sad. Although I saw a YouTube video, so now Whatcha Say plays in my head every time I read that part.

Favorite anime behind Dragon Ball. I am a pretty big fan of Light, but that may just because he has an awesome voice and we look alike. Pretty good show, I must say.

I loved the psychological aspect behind death note - the decision we would all have to toy with, and also watching him attempt to elude his eventual demise. I think that was the most entertaining part of all - being the detective and the criminal.

I rather liked Mikami, because the back story about him was kinda... I don't know. I just liked his character and how he always focused on justice and personal feelings never intervened with his use of the Death Note to bring justice and do Kira's work when Kira couldn't do it

I loved this series. I'm even buying the box sets and getting my friends to watch this show. The only thing that bothered me was Misa Amane. She was like the Jar Jar Binks of Death Note.

Relive the moment ;-;. Also, did that song play in the anime when he died? Or did the person add that in for that video? Haven't actually seen the anime.

Being written in the Death Note is marginally better than watching Naruto. Unless you're scheduled to die whilst marathoning Naruto, then Kira probably has some personal beef with you.

I haven't seen the anime but I do intend on purchasing the manga series... eventually. I would prefer to finish the collections of other series I started first, though. I've seen the live-action film adaptation of Death Note and I found that to be rather enjoyable... in fact, it's really what got me interested in the manga. I've heard generally bad things about the anime and that it's meant to be pretty poor in quality... but I haven't seen it so I cannot hold such an opinion yet.

I haven't read the manga but I found the anime much better than the movies.

It was in no way "over-hyped" and it had some of the best characters, storyline, and music I've ever seen and heard. The problem is, you would rather watch cartoons blowing up planets in DBZ or dodging bullets than watch something more intelligent. I prefer psychological intrigue and mystery, you prefer unrealistic violence because you are too impatient to really think about what you are watching.

Higurashi and Elfen Lied are 2 of the shittiest animes that I have seen. Higurashi is just a joke, the characters are just doing stupid shit all the time and nothing interesting happens. Elfen Lied is crap, the characters and story are shallow and it's clearly trying to gain viewers by having lots of blood and nudity.
I have watched the Death Note anime 3 times, and read the manga series once. It's one of my favorites, I really like the characters and the story. However, it would have been better if it had a more mature approach and delved deeper into the psyche and backgrounds of the characters.

Best anime with best opening (Maximum the Hormone - What's Up People?)
I'm not a fanboy, I'm not even that into animes but that one is just a level above most others. Creating a violent anime is too easy, as many newgrounder animators prove but a plot like that is just unique.

You guys must really see the entire anime. The ending is far better than the manga.

Well, FMA is one of the best anime like death note but I don't think it's the best. It's just another action anime like most of them.

You know, I don't care what anyone else says;
L and Light wanted each other, and the sex would have been hot.
I got all the manga and have watched all the anime. Great stuff. The ending made me want to cry.
Shame it just went downhill after you know who died.

It is the best anime in existence. It doesn't take a fool to realize the quality of its writing.
